HB start up error message

been running HB on my laptop just fine.

just installed on my desktop and having an odd problem.

I run the HB launcher. It runs normally until I get to the WOW log on window. Then an error window pops up - "Honorbuddy launcher has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available". But I can then move that window off to the side of the screen and log on to WOW, and click the HB key window and it all runs fine (seemingly). But I still have the error window off to the side. If in that error window I click on the 'close program' button, it shuts down HB.

How to I get the launcher to run cleanly and not have this error pop up?

Edit: its windows 8.1, a quite clean computer with pretty much only MS office and WOW installed.

dont use the launcher.

wow needs to be running in 32bit mode.
to do this watch this video. it covers every possible way to get wow to start in 32 bit mode.

after wow is started in 32bit mode, get fully logged in and in game, then start honorbuddy by right clicking "honorbuddy.exe" and clicking "Run as Administrator"

Out of curiosity . . . Do you know why the HB launcher would work just fine on my laptop installation and not on this one?
