hb not working with windows 8?

hmm my comp seemed to be really slowed so i put windows 8 build 8102 on it and now everytime i try to start hb it crashes and wow also. everything else is working fine with it thou.

afaik win8 is not yet supported.

ugh really? HB is the only app that crashes in windows 8... all my other old apps work photoshop, autocad mumbles everything wow. ugh. even the build seems to run smoother than windows 7.

just for the sake of argument since you didn't specify, did you try compatibility mode? assuming windows 8 still has it.

yes i gave that a try and deleted my 3d vision drivers also. some ppl reported the error i was getting was a problem with those drivers also.
