If the problem is also happening with Singular, then the cause will be an interfering program. This article will help you sort the issue:

Closed all programs from tray and looks like it doesn't crash now. Don't know which one of them was causing the issue, a bit weird anyway as I haven't installed any new program for a while :-/

all those programs are known to cause issues, thats why they're on the list so ANY of them could of been causing issues.
