HB is hanging.

I have done what the moderators have suggested (uninstall of c++, reinstall framework, use buddy wizard, update via windows, all the tedious restarting) and 5 hours later to no prevail it still will not work.

check your anti-virus that its not removing or blocking access to honorbuddy files.
reDownload the latest version of honorbuddy. http://updates.buddyauth.com/GetNewest?filter=Honorbuddy
Then do a clean install into a new folder. Do not reinstall over a previous installation or move items from the old installation into the new one.
