HB Freezes after start up

It freezes and stops working. can't click on anything and finally have to kill it in the task manager.
I just cleared all cache files and did a clean install, but it's still happening.

Switched to dx9, but didn't seem to work.
Any ideas if it's still happening?
It doesn't freeze every time, but it does most of the time. Some times it runs for a bit, but then freezes and some times it won't run at all and freezes right at startup.
