HB Doesn't Inject

Process:
Fresh install of HB on W8 x64. This one is the newest beta, but the newest release also does the same thing.

Issue:
HB doesn't inject. Similar problems people have had indicate this is a settings problem, but there are none at this point. The best practice is to run DX11 and 32-bit on HB for W8. The logs below show what happens when I do so.

Workaround:
HB appears to work with DX9. It doesn't run with DX11. This is the inverse of what is suggested and what works for most.

Upload a log as an attachment. If it is too big, zip it.
We dont open external links.

FYI, this is mostly a bug report. I'm sure there are many incidents of this happening, but it seems different setups require a different Direct X. It's suggested to use the opposite one that doesn't work, which I have been doing.

I just hope a fix can be found, so I can run DX11!

Since youre using the beta build this should be reported to the beta thread.

The "UISettings" error is usually caused by a bad settings folder.
Deleting it or a fresh install in a new folder should fix it.

It is weird that DX11 is not working on Win 8.
Ill forward this to the devs.

I have tested this on live and beta with fresh settings. I've also deleted the settings folder and started it again. Same issue, so I'm not sure this particular one is settings related.

Thank you, sir. I appreciate it!

Hi, Tony!

Yes, I can get both the newest live HB and the latest beta version running on DX9 mode just fine.

I had always read that you should run DX11, but it's the opposite for me for some reason. I run two SLI'd cards, so DX11 can bring a huge performance boost. If there was a way to troubleshoot or get DX11 working, that'd be fantastic!
