remove:

- microsoft visual c++ 2005-2015 x86 redistributable



restart your pc,
download the installationwizard http://updates.buddyauth.com/BuddyWizard.zip
run them as administrator.

also you need to install https://download.microsoft.com/downl...redist.x86.exe

after installation is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++


you had Hb working in this machine in the past?

Uninstalled VC++ 2015
Restarted

Downloaded and ran the BuddyWizard

Installed are:
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x86 Redistributable - 10.0.40219
Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable (x86) - 11.0.60610.1
Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable (x86) - 12.0.30501.0

Downloaded the linked VC++ 2015er version and installed it

Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable (x86) - 14.0.23506.0

Restarted

The system is fully patched, there are no system updates available through Windows Update

And yes, before the first big ban wave I was running HB with no issues on this OS...
