I start wow and then Honorbuddy crashes, all the log says is:

[11:30:47 PM:515] Logging in...
[11:30:53 PM:593] Buddy Sessions: 0/0
-----
Shared Sessions: 1/4

im not posting the log so get over it, thats all it says. Any ideas?

it really has only 2 lines of text? I find that hard to believe... post a log or not get any support... and when you do not get any support don't QQ, just "get over it"

Oh sorry i didnt know you got on my computer and took a look at my log? How about you think before you express your opinion or make a statement, thanks. That is all the log says. I have 3 logs. All say the same. Honorbuddy opens, says that, and then crashes.

how long has this issue been going on? Have you done any recent hardware/software updates that might have caused this issue? If so try rolling back your pc a couple of days or to a date when HB still worked....

Or you can re-download HB and start from fresh and see if that clears up the issues... we have no idea what troubleshooting steps you have performed... you are asking for support we see now the logs are useless but what the hell have you tried so far?

Well i just started up my WOW account today. I've tried nothing. I came here for troubleshooting

hmm... well lets run down the basics and make sure we did not miss anything on your initial setup...
1) wow is in windowed mode(not maximized windowed)
2) WoW is not in DX11 mode and is correctly set to DX9(can be changed under options>advanced
3) you are using Windows 7 and older not Windows 8 or IoS(be surprised how often we get this)
4) firewalls are set to allow HB ports(will have to do a search I have no idea what ports HB uses, but seeing you can connect to the auth servers I doubt this is your issue)
5) try running HB obviously under Admin mode but also try setting the Compatability mode to XP
6)if using Vista/XP make sure you have .net framwork of 3.5 sp1 installed link to it is here Download: .NET Framework 3.5 Service pack 1 - Microsoft Download Center - Download Details (do not need if running on Windows 7)

try these.... if still nothing works post here if anything changed

All of those steps have been followed. Its giving me an error, I'm not sure why its doing this..

the problem that it encounters that ISNT in the log it says "Could not load file or assembly 'fasmdll_managed, Version=1.0.3829.8763, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=53d73c680b668dc5' or one of its dependencies" No idea what any of that means though

and you are fully loaded into wow when you start HB correct like your character you are wanting to play on is fully in the game ready to roll?

I am just trying to get the basics out of the way...

the error you are getting relates to having the wrong .net framework....

goto the link that I had in my steps of troubleshooting post, download the .net 3.5 sp1 and install it... restart you comp and see if that fixes it

when you get that error window... click details and copy +paste that whole log in here please

i downloaded that earlier today. It said i could repair it, since i already had it installed and i let it do it. Restarted same error

Take a SS of the error window that pops up.
Remove all identifying names and such.

If you could please go into your WoW Install Folder and find the crashlog for it and attach it.
Of course removing Server/Toon/Acct name as needed.

Okay,
Forget that last statement.
I'm an idiot.

fasmdll_managed.dll is a file that should be in your Honorbuddy install folder.

Re-download HB from the page linked at the top (Downloads).
Make sure you have that file in there :)

untitled.webp

I tried that already :/ here's the SS.
