HB crashes to desktop after install of Windows Update KB3000850 on Windows 8.1 pc

HB was working fine earlier tonight.

I got prompted to install a windows update today which I did without any issues.. (KB3011780)

Then I installed Windows Update KB3000850, the November update rollup.

Which was a big mistake!

WoW 32 bit still launched and played just fine. But HB crashes to desktop shortly after logging in with my key, every single time!

What fixed my problem?

Just uninstalling KB3000850. After restating yet again, HB now works no problems again.

btw, I was launching wow 32 bit the whole time (x86 appeared in the lower left corner)

I'm quoting my original message b/c I dont think you actually read through all of it:

Hb worked perfectly. Stopped working after installing windows update KB3000850. After uninstalling it, HB resumed working again.


These reason I posted in the first place is becuase I think many other users are having the exact same problem. I compared some of the log files which matched mine almost exactly!
 
thanks, ill do some more yelling at the devs. next time please just pm me, instead of making a support thread if you dont really need support.
