HB causing massive FPS drop

Hi All.

Having some issues with HB.
Never had any performance issues and my setup is fine (i7, 16GB ram & GTX970)

i play the game on mid settings (5) and usually it runs around 100fps.
Everything has been fine except i logged on today for the first time in about a week and as soon as i hit the start button on honorbuddy its dropping my FPS to a maximum of 17 which is unplayable, if i try move around it drops to as low as 2!

I'm quite confident this is a software issue as i've never had this issue before.
GPU drivers are on latest

If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great

Ok so i've narrowed it down to this issue being cause by "Hardlock" on Enyo... is this an important setting?

Long time since I've used Enyo, but I only had Softlock on (there should be a hard and a soft, iirc).
