HB Broken?

Was just using the bot maybe an hour or 2 ago.

just got back from class and trying to get on now and all it keeps saying is:

Honorbuddy v2.5.14527.804 started.
Honorbuddy was unable to check for an update.
Honorbuddy will not be able to update automatically.
Logging in...

and then it never logs in and attaches.
windows automatically closes program.

anyone else having this same issue or know of a fix?

so far I have:
-made sure to run as admin
-switched to dx9 from dx11 to see if it helps
-verified 32bit
-tried 2 dif hb accs

no luck. very sad
 
Hi, BigUncleFleckz,

First, see if a simple reboot of your machine will clear the issue.

If no joy, let's see if your Antivirus is interfering with Honorbuddy (possibly due to an update while you were out).

If still no joy, let's try re-installing the .NET dependencies.

Please show us a fresh log, if none of the above provides success.

Hi again, BigUncleFlecks, and thanks for the fresh log.

It distinctly looks like connectivity to our server is being blocked somewhere on your system or router. This is usually caused by the AntiVirus/Firewall.

Let's try the remedy listed in "To Remedy a non-specific Authentication Failed" section of this article:

Another fresh log, if it fails, please.

This actually happened to me on one of my computers, oddly it was my Anti-virus doing it.
Simply enough, I use AVG and all I had to do was add the HB Application to my exceptions and run as admin.
Also I did this on another computer and it helped my performance so I got a much higher FPS with no out of combat lag.
