Hey,

so my problem is atm. that when I start 2x WoW + 1x SWTOR + firefox + some other programms after a coldstart my RAM usage is at 4 GB. After some time it goes up to 7,5 GB (and I've got only 8GB). Maybe I should buy more, but I wanna know how u guys handle it. Its kinda annoying to restart every few hours because the RAM is full.

I can recommend you bots are running the lowest graphics available, no reason for your bot to have fancy graphic, next, try to check if it isn't Firefox which is eat

hm, yeah that could it be. I'll test it out after work. Maybe Ultra is too high.

well try that out, I personally find Honorbuddy to work better with lower graphics to be honest :o I know it sounds odd.

When it comes to Firefox, the more tabs you open the more memory you consume, and it grows significantly as you add more, il hover up to 15-20 tabs sometimes and be using a Gig or two of ram. Like he said no reason to run anything on fancy graphics.

1x4gb stick of ram is $15-$25 depending on speed and package you get

just upgrade to 16gb and call it a day

I don't think that the prob is firefox. The RAM usage in the Task Manager is wrong, because when I sum up all ram usage its never 7 GB...

Yeaaah, would be better. Next month :P

Well system tasks and services doesn't really show up, use Sysinternals programs or the Resource Monitor (resmon.exe) to have a little better view on which program is using this and/or that.

I run two 1920x1080 screens, 2 bots and BF3 at the same time, with 8gb of ram, rarely have any issues.
