So is there a reason why HB doesnt support an SVN server for releasing updates

There could even be an SVN just to download the most recent zip/installer
I always find myself trying to hunt down the correct download especially during times of patching, I
Just think it would be a much simpler way releasing content.

Thoughts?

Usually the new release is a sticky right at the top of the forums...

usually, not always i.e what has happened at this point in time.
And why not make it easier for us so we dont have to come directly to the source I check my svns daily I dont check the forums daily for beta and stable releases

All releases are always under https://www.thebuddyforum.com/releases/
Doesn't matter beta, test, release etc. Always there, for years. ctrl-b bookmarks it. You're welcome :)
For stable releases they're always here Buddy Updates

My guess why they don't use SVN is if they updated dependencies / information etc etc they wanna relay with said release.
