The problem with HB crashing during start-up is still existing, at least it is for me...
I don't see a lot of threads being raised on this, so I guess it is something on my end; i hope you can help

I attached both the error I get in the Windows application log, and the HB log file (although i don't think the last will not be very helpful as there is no mention of an error).

The crash occurs when I start moving the mouse to start HB...

Help pls

Tony, thankx for your suggestion,

Using dx11 I was able to start HB, but after some time (halfway in second combat) it crashed again.

If you have another suggestion, pls ;0

your running a TON of wow addons. try disabling them, and restarting wow.

also click "Settings and Tools" and lower your Ticks per Second to 15 or so. it generally does not need to be over that.

I had a feeling you would suggest that :)
Ok, so here is the log with a highly reduced number of plug-ins

This time i noticed 2 error logs in the windows application log (both attached).
I cannot check if this also happened yesterday, I completely cleaned & re-installed my system

Thanks for your suggestion, I wish it would solve my problem.

your ticks per second is still high. try lowering it.

Please send me a pm with your honorbuddy key for verification. make sure to include a link to this thread in the pm as well.

Done it with FPS at 15 as suggested, but no improvement there...

first and foremost id like to remind you that modifications to the honorbuddy executable are not only not supported, but can produce undesired side effects.

Do a clean install of the latest beta.
you can download it here.
http://updates.buddyauth.com/GetNewest?filter=HonorbuddyBETA

after that do a CLEAN Install into a new folder, do not re-install to an previous installation and do not copy over any plugins, combat routines or quest behaviors into this new installation.

Rest asure, I am a noob when it come to reversing or what else; so I did not make any modifications.
I am happy the way HB functions; only experiencing this problem since the last WoW/HB update.

I will download and install fresh, and report the results in a min

Windows 7 Professional 64-bit SP1 (Enterprise), but I am running the 32bit WoW client

Is there anything i could try ?
As far as my ideas go i have tried them all except from buying a different puter ;)

Anyone? Pleasssssse

(Sorry to be impatient, but i miss my buddy :) )

- microsoft .net framework 4.5.1
- microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable
- microsoft visual c++ 2012 x86 redistributable

restart your pc,
download the installationwizard from here
run it as administrator.
after the wizard is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++
restart

Thanks Tony,

I already tried this as I found this answer on other issues.
No difference in my case...

Once I turned off all my plugins (about 6) it worked again, it would seem if the bot is under heavy load then it will crash... I found that the issue was my code in the Pulse, I commented it out and put it in an Event call and after that no crashes (it was a Mailing plugin)

You can turn off the framelock in the Settings should help performance.
