I am just having no luck here. When I first used HB to level my chars, they would just grind and grind away. Yet now with the leveling and everything, it seems more complicated than it used to be. IDK what is going on.

Anyone have a good guide to follow that I can just do a quick read, set it up and click start and never have to worry about checking the bot too often. Thanks.

It sounds like you've been gone for a while. It also sounds like your goal is to level some toons. With these assumptions...

1) Grinding is one of the best ways to get banned nowadays, so you should look at other methods.
Although grinding is still highly AFK-able, you have to be very smart if you do it.

2) PvPing has a lot of problems, if you read the forums.
Toons follow the same path, and many are complaining that the current incarnation of CCs is insufficient for PvPing. I don't do it myself, so can't say if there are truly problems, or the expectations are just high.

3) Questing is probably your safest bet, but its not AFK-able.
The biggest problem is HBcore's navigation getting hung up on terrain objects, or getting hung up at an NPC trying to turn in a quest, or pick one up, or repair or sell, or interact with a flight master, or somesuch. A poor choice of CC will have you attacking an Evading mob indefinitely. All these activities seem to be auto-detected by Bliz now, and result in a suspension/ban.

You also have to be smart with your profile choices. Getting hung in a 'death loop' appears auto-detected by Bliz now. If a profile spams macro (via RunMacro behavior), there is strong evidence that this too is also auto-detected by Bliz.

For Alliance, look at Kick's or Nuok's profiles.

For Horde, look at The Azenius Project, or Kick has taken over a Horde profile also. Kick's Horde is serviceable, but not nearly as polished as his Alliance side.

There may be other fine profile choices, but these are the only ones with which I've personal experience.

In short, the bot is not click-and-go like it used to be, because Bliz has gotten so much more aggressive on banning. It appears they even have an automated system for banning in place for certain activities. You now have to be smart and do some research.

Don't get me wrong, there are still plenty of people that have never been banned hanging around. But, these are smart (and perhaps somewhat lucky) botters.

If you try to click-and-go-and-walk-away, you will quickly discover it is click-and-ban.

P.S. - In the above post, I used the word 'banning' sloppily. I mean either ban (permanent) or suspension (72 hours, or so). I'm not going to rewrite it, but when I wrote 'ban' read it as 'ban/suspension', please.

Can you link the "The Azenius Project" for Horde? Im new so just asking if i could get some help from a member to get me started Please.

Not trying to be a douche, but if you plan to use HB, you will want to learn how to search through the forums. If you can figure out how to make a post, you can find the thread.

Some tips.
