Haven't played WoW in months, sell ores or prospect em?

Hey guys,

I haven't played WoW since 5.2, and I want to make me some money. I have a fuckton of ores, and I'm wondering what I should do with them? Am I better off prospecting them all and sell the gems? Or should I just sell the ores directly to the AH?

prospect, at least thats what i do, or smelt em to bars and/or transmute bars (eg, gather ghost iron, smelt to bars, xmute to trillium)

less suspicious then selling fuckton of stacks of raw ore

Definitely prospect. Here's a handy tool to see how much profit you would be making per stack.
