Have a few questions, thinking about buying honorbuddy

How safe is it? I know there's like seperate bots for honorbuddy or something, like dugneons, questing, gathering etc.... my question is how safe is each one? Also, which bot would i use to level up characters? Cuz I'm probably going to only be using honorbuddy to level up all my characters.... and possibly gathering. or maybe bg'ing, depending how safe? Also can i use the bot to level up characters that are already leveled a bit? like I have a 55dk, a 84 rogue, and a level 10 druid.... so.... wondering if I can still use the bot to level those up, or does it have to start at level 1?

Its fairly safe, it depends a little on the server and what you do. Generally its people reporting you that will be the main source of problems.
I've been running it for 4-5 months on and off with no a single issue, even if you do get banned its a 72 hour and you can just stop botting after that. (thats my plan)

Questing is very safe, BGbuddy is fairly safe but easy to detect since it does strange things sometimes.
Just read about questing profiles on here, you can pickup from any level.

Hope that clears it up a bit for ya.

Is the dungeon profile out already?
Can you link me the questing profiles? I only saw grinding profiles.... What about gathering and professions, how safe are those? I didn't see any tailoring profiles =/

All the bots are built in Honorbuddy, so you don't think you download 10 different bots.
All bots are safe, it only depends on reports and excessive usage (like, 24/7 gathering for months got me banned).
Questing is safe, BG is safe since half the bg uses it.

Really, the main thing is, don't get reported too many times, and if you're questing, people don't report you unless you don't reply to whisper, you run into a wall for hours and stuff like that. I sit by the computer most of the questing time, but when gathering I go to sleep, since he can fly there and doesn't get stuck on quests.

You can start botting on any level.

edit: Since Blizzard had to remove process scanning in tbc, they can no longer be sure you're botting, except by watching you.

But we assume there's some things like, high amount of auctions with materials, herbing/mining for days in a row, just generally playing for too long.

Is there a way to tell if you've been reported?

Yea, you have a whisper saying "reported!!!!!!".

No, there's no way to see if you've been reported - but belive me, there's people botting 10 accounts 24/7, if you casually bot 5 hours questing and bgs per day, you're safe. And one report doesn't ban you. You most likely need lots of reports from different accounts on many days, which won't happen if you're questing/bgs.

I just got perm banned on my previous gathering account which I botted 24/7 for a few months. Started a new one now and I plan to do it again. I made millions of gold during those months, lets just say the money I got from selling gold can pay 100 new accounts for me.

edit: and not even my main shuffle account got banned, only the gathering one, probably Blizzard have a method to see how many nodes gathered/day, online time and then they investigate.

nice okay cool.... my next question is... if i'm only botting say 8-10 hours a day, do i have to monitor the bot to reply to people and shit? Cuz the idea of botting is so you can do other stuff..... Like, what i'm asking is, if I don't monitor the bot, is that going to make it more likely to get a ban?: if so, how much?

It depends on what you do. If you're questing for 10 hrs without monitoring it, you might get stuck somewhere and the unstuck function will make you look very bot like trying to get out of it. You can download plugins to shut down the bot after X stucks, whispers, deaths, hours.

oh okay, that'd be perfect... yeah just shutdown the bot after certain amount of stucks or whispers.

ummm
sorry i'm just very paranoid, cuz I only have 1 account.

also, how do you sell wow gold? like how do you go about getting customers?

You don't do that on your main account.
I'm lucky, since I've known my guild players for a while, and I sell some gold to them, but most of my gold I've sold to chinese sites. Less money, more gold sold at a time.

I suggest buying a new account (cheap now, black friday prices on amazon i think).
Bot 1-90, 1-600 mining/herb, bot gathering for some hours every day until you feel comfortable leaving it unmonitored, you'll see it's not bad, doesn't get stuck, very little people have whispered me saying "reported". Most of the people whispering me asks for help or wanna do dailys.

If you want you can put the ores/herbs in guild bank, then on your main account deposit, and shuffle ores/herbs to make more gold. If you want to be safer you can from bot account put all ores/herbs on AH, buy them from your main account, but you lose 5% on each auction. A stack of herbs 30g - bot account receives 28,5g, not bad.
Buy 1000 stacks (doesn't take many days to get), and you lose 1500g.

Buy a third account and be in the same guild as bot account, didn't write it before but:
Main account - lvl 1 bank char in the guild
Bot account - lvl 90 botter guild master
Third account - lvl 1 bank char in the guild

You can bot on your main account, ofcourse.
I do that every day, but always monitored. I don't want to lose my main account.

So I wrote & deleted this 3 times before finally deciding to go ahead & post. This is just my humble opinion, so feel free to just ignore it.

Well the 1st rule of botting: Don't bot on an account that you are afraid of losing. You are planning on doing a lot of stuff, including selling gold. For such a new person, you are surely bound to get caught/reported.

You are far better off starting a new account and leveling toons that NO ONE knows about. Hop in a huge guild, don't socialize, and just start off slowly. Get a few toons leveled to 90 while you continue to research these forums for your next steps. If you can't afford a 2nd account, then you can't afford to bot & sell gold. Your bot accounts should pay for themselves before you look at gold selling, etc.

No offense, but don't bite off more than you can chew (or you will be 1 pissed off mofo claiming how HB sucks & got your account banned).

Many people get reported by people they know who get jealous or pissy for other reasons. Many others get reported by fellow botters, gold sellers, and AH competition. You are swimming in shark infested waters - protect your main account. Rotate bank toons often and again, NEVER tell anyone who you are and what you do.

Again:

1. Get at least 1 more account (2-3 would be better)
2. Level toons & profs on that account(s) in your 1st 30 days of botting. This will let you know if you can sustain the level needed to make botting profitable. If you can not level at least 4 toons with complementary professions on each account, you may want to reconsider just botting for fun/personal gain & give on the botting for gold thing.

ah ok, thanks, this is going to sound really newb.... but how do you get a new wow account? Do you just buy a 60 day time card? or do you have to buy all the games over again + timecard?

also, I didn't get why you said to buy the stuff you were selling on your bot account with your main account? What would be the point of that? I don't get it

ummmm I'd only be botting on my main account for leveling purposes and honor farming... I'd farm gold on another account.... Also I'm pretty familiar with botting, I was a huge botter in diablo 2, runescape, etc and such... and seeing as how blizzard can't detect bots anymore, as previously said, it's just adjusting the bot so it doesn't make certain noticeable fuckups.

To make a new account you need to buy vanilla, tbc, wotlk, cataclysm. Vanilla gives a free month, so after that you'll have to buy gamecard.
Check www.offgamers.com.

Since you don't want to be traced easily, if Blizzard would investigate your bot account and see you selling gold, then they can easily trace it to your main account if you're trading 500 stacks per day for 0 gold, or if you're mailing your main account 500 stacks per day. If you buy from your main account, it's not as easy to make a connection.

The reason you want ores on your main account(or keep it on bot account if you level more characters), is to shuffle ores and herbs.

Shuffling as in:
prospecting ore, cut gems, creating necks/rings, disenchant, put enchants on scrolls and sell on AH - requires 1 char with jc/ench.

Milling herbs, create glyphs, enchants, offhands, fortune cards - requires 1 char with inscription.
creating flasks, potions, elixirs - requires 1 char with alchemy.

If you have an alchemist and jewelcrafter, you can also create primal diamonds (meta gems) and cut.
It's alot more profitable than selling raw materials.

I would just buy from bestbuy.... They can just trace your IP though, if you're running from the same network..... So I don't see why buying the game from a different vendor would help

What? I'm talking about Blizzard tracing your gold sale to your main account.

I'm not sure I fully understand what you're getting at.... Bot1 account selling stuff, traced back to my main account? Well it'd be easy enough to trace it back b/c of your IP.

They don't ban you because you own two accounts.
