I see some points to consider:

1. Happy Birthday!

2. Pokefarmer is not free! It's a product, a service. You have an obligation to take care of the integrity of your business.

3. You already make lots of money for being the only ones controlling a api *****ed version.

4. The company is supposed to pay for the overtime work of its developers.

I think it's a shame to ask for a donation. I do not want to offend anyone. I'll finish here.

Normally I would agree with you, however considering this is something that most of the community asked to have and NOT Hatching, I think its perfectly harmless if people want to support him with redbull.

2. You are absolutely correct! During business hours.

3. I think you underestimate the costs of maintenance, support and legal fees.

4. Decline to comment (but your missing information).

All in all, during the December API change, alot of people wanted to show support to the devs, and they were demanding ways to give them money ect ect. As such, this harmless little go fund me was setup to send Hatching Redbull, he never asked for it, but it was approved by the person holding the go fund me page by the right channels.
 
Where do you all live where it's that unusual to work on your birthday..?. I don't think I ever got a day off when my birthday lands on a weekday :/

I think you underestimate the costs of maintenance.

You keep the API behind a paywall because you dont want people making their own servers that's the cost of doing business. The amount of users you have buying into hash keys and poke farmer is insane every discord channel is filled with them hell I own 3 licenses and 5 hashing keys myself I love your product and speed you update. But you're making a killing I don't think it's undeserved the skill set required to do such work would've took a lot of schooling I'm sure and to build up such a community takes a entrepreneur mindset but you got your dream jobs you make your own hours make tons of money. Don't pretend like you need a go fund me borderline millionaires.

It takes a lot of balls to against blizzards lawyers there's no way you're not making a hella lot of money to be like fuck it lets keep appealing. Even GliderBot couldn't do that.

Yes you are right, we are making alot of money, and it gets pissed away every time we fight for your right to be able to bot.. Also we either appeal/fight blizzard or we have to shut down. Its Blizzard initiating the suits 9 times out of 10 NOT us, we don't want to be blowing through money and wasting it on this never ending battle, but we wont lay down and play dead. Please think and research before you attack and criticize.
 
Come on guys, its only a few dollars to buy a bot and your complaining over chump change? Did you notice the pokedev community giving up while Hatchling pushes forward in engineering the API almost all by himself?

Well shouldn't a developer test his product before releasing? I'm stating the fact that due to the trap most of us lost our main accounts and a simple 'sorry' would just be enough? I bought 2 keys for 1 year and now I have to start over again.
You have no idea how much money and time I have spent on this game. Blaming means nothing now but I just wish a proper apology not just a few words saying 'we stepped into the trap GG' . We trusted eggy and that's why we used it immediately after the update. You got paid and we got the service. That's called trade. I appreciate your work but now what can compensate our losses? Don't just tell me to start over please

Really?:confused: Your breaking TOS to 'Pokemon Go' of your own volition and now you want to blame the people that provided you a service for your short comings?

Every botter in any game should know that as soon as you bot, there is a chance you're going to lose everything one day.

If you cant accept that, then i don't think botting is for you. :(
 
I was safe botting everyday until the latest update of pokefarmer. Even eggy himself admitted its a trap. I do not understand why you have to state this unless I am botting 24/7 and idiot playing like a *****.
 
Chupii it's easy for you to say that since I can see you didn't lose your accounts over the ban wave.
Then obviously you never understand the frustration we have now and the time we spent on the accounts.

This isn't my only problem. If I am the only person who misused the bot then I shouldn't blame anyone but myself.
Now lots of people got banned recently right after the update of PF and I doubt it's my own fault.
You are now saying that the latest update has nothing to do with the ban wave, which is rediculously funny.

From context you're saying I've never experienced frustration over losing my 'Go' account. But what you obviously don't know is from my previous comments they are speaking from experience, you're crying over a 'free to play' game, where you can make as many free accounts as you want.

I'm not sure about you, but I've been banned numerous times in WOW and 'that' my fellow pokefamer actually costs money to play, not just the initial game cost, but the subscription.

And lets be realistic, you say you have lost a lot of 'time' playing this game, so you make some settings and then you switch to 'youtube' or whatever you do while it 'plays itself' in the background. To be honest you haven't lost much time at all.

If you choose to buy 'in-app purchases', then that is your own choice.

note: i wake up everyday expecting to never log into my 'go' account ever again :o

You missed all the points that I was saying. I appreciate your reply and I spent lots of time catching rare pokemons in the wild as well as occupying gyms for the last 6 months, not just botting in background and went back to YouTube ( thank you for guessing) . Please stop saying 'it's your own choice' because it means nothing.
I am actually looking for a proper apology, rather than unrealistic compensation because I know there won't be any.

Sadly this is the last i will make use of any any product associated to Bossland. I have (or had) keys for multiple products and have now been screwed over to many times by these thieving @ssholes.
In one foul swoop they have blanketly wiped out all my keys (Honor, Hearth & Dungeon) which were all supposed to be lifetimes (hence the choice to pay extra) and now this..

@hatchingegg, thanks for your work, but i will never support anything associated with them ever again.
