Has Anyone ever used/tried Tycoon?

Tycoon the addon to help sales? I was interested in giving this a try along with HB this should help my gold making exponentially. I wanted to know if it actually works. The several reviews i have seen online are kinda sketchy might be posted by the makers themselves...

If this is a violation on this board then im sorry. Was looking in rues didnt really mention anything about this.

Tycoon is a farce and should be avoided. Its a poor addon mimicing Auctioneer and adds a few way points like the old atlas addon for some farming nodes. Not worth the money and should be avoided by all.

Got it free, its fairly decent, tells me what is most profitable at the moment, which has supply and which has demand. So all in all it is a good addon. Although everything it does can be done by other addons.
This is more of a compilation, although the GUI is spot on!

Your kidding me right ? Not a single profit calculation is correct, mats costs are always wrong, if someone has a mat on for 1 g and the next price is 20 g and you need 10 of them it tells you the mat cost is 10g, not 181g as it should be. Use The Undermine Journal to check to prices first, you will loose a lot of gold following Tycoon.

On the other hand the mats map generator is a great feature.

No probs, it is awesome :0 They have a WoW plugin too, don't find that as good though. ahspy is Ok, but UJ is best IMHO.

Very good resource for quickly seeing if "gold making websites" that quote really good prices on their server will work for you. How to make gold in World of Warcraft - Kuja's Gold Mine - Gold Guide for example, everything he writes about as a sale price on his realm I divide by 10 on mine.

I got it for free, it has it's uses.. I've used it to make small profits here and there, It's just another tool for AH baron's. Nothing magical..

Well on most mats nobody ever undercuts by that much. Some do but it is rare. Every realm I have been on has a fairly solid price.
So I do not have that problem. It helps me see what gems are going cheap today and what I should add to my queue

Not so much undercuts, more of a newbie listing mats at completely wrong prices, happens a lot on my realm, which is good for me as I scoop em up, but it puts the data in Tycoon out a great deal.
They just released a leveling plugin too, will have a look at it tonight, before I get my money back.
