Has anyone been banned whilst questing?

so in the ban section, i alway see BGBot, GB, Gold selling etc etc

but how many people get banned whilst questing with HB?

I'm guessing some of the bans could be questing, but they've used GB/BG Bot or something else instead and believe that's the reason for the ban.

1) GM's don't check how long you have been playing... they don't just search a database, oh he's been plyaing for 96hrs, i must banhammerz him for being an addict.
--> for all they know, i play during they day, and my brother plays at night
2) ive been botting for roughly 84Hrs, surely i'd have been banned by now?
3) i'm using a vpn, so if i do get caught, i'll simply state i was hacked and the hacker was trying to get my account banend so i couldn't use it ever again, or that he was trying to hit 85 to sell it on for more money?

You're right, GMs don't check how long you've been playing. They have automated systems for that.

Bans aren't placed immediately unless the offense committed requires immediate termination. The ban on botters are delayed so there's a less chance of the botter actually knowing what caused it. When you first get banned it may be because of a bot you used a week ago or even more. I've experienced that myself

Their automated systems don't care who's playing. That you play a lot simply adds suspicion, making it monitor your account more heavily. Proof is easily gathered once you're monitored

And for the VPN, sure, but what's the difference from making an appeal? They'll unban you either way if you sound convincing.

sure, but if i play under a VPN and get found out, i can blame it on a hacker, and get unbanned?

US Servers are much stricter then UK Servers... you guys get like 1000 bans a day, we get 1... (not the actual amounts, just using it as a comparison)

I've botted for days at a time, with maybe 5-10 min break in there somewhere since before pirox went down and never had any problems.

I have Battle ground botted over 20 toons literally non stop from like level 60 to 85. Never have received a ban from this. and that was like over 100 hours of straight game play. My bans have ALWAYS come from farming excessive amounts, but not from pvp.

During question people get only banned due to reports they receive while walking 2 hours straigt against a wall , some player see that come back 2 hours later and you still walk against the wall or smth. Questing is really safe, if you have good profiles which also act smart like Kick ones.

I don't use a VPN. I do bot at least 16 hrs per day. I run more than 4 bots in 1 computer. I do not use automail I dischant, process, gems, auctions, and cods by hand. I talk in trade once in a while from every other toon. I do BG's, I do questing, I do Gathering and sometimes 4 bots in the same area. I don't report botters, but I do whisper them with messages like "dude wtf answer me", "omg you following me?" if they don't care they will keep coming back if they care they won't come more nodes for me.If I don't want to get caught and ban I will not bot. If you gonna QQ about been ban don't bot. Enough said. You only get ban because you do stupid things. I post no more than 50 stacks in ah with 1 account. Yes I under cut myself but I am also controlling the market. If you bot for 1 account to get gold to pay for your raiding I am happy for you, don't QQ. IO join high levels guild and later leave, I am prick to some people while I give special deals to others. Enough said.
