Harvesting Mobs

Hi.

There is no option when using Grind Bot to make the bot harvest the mob for herbalism. A good example are the Vilepetal Rooter mobs. The bot will kill and loot them but will not harvest them. Is there a way around this?

usually when a solution is found, it will be revealed with the next release. or maybe the beta. the best time to bump a thread like this is right after an update to the client.

Ok sorry. Is there maybe something that i could add into the profile to force it to harvest the Vilepetals?

What i find odd is on my server the spot is infested with bots so i know its possible?

You have to kill Vilepetal Rooter mobs then you can herb the body. Its like skinning, and yes i have skinning on this char and it makes no diff.

ok, i understand. but have you tried with gatherbuddy and grindbot? gatherbuddy should allow you to 'loot mobs'. and maybe the code is already written in gatherbuddy to harvest the mobs. since the purpose of gatherbuddy is to harvest anyways.

otherwise, look for a plugin. a plugin would allow the bot to identify when a mob was present that needed harvesting and force the bot to harvest it.

and ofc, you can always write your own plugin. there is a handy guide to writing plugins here on the forums.

I can't write my own plugin i do not have this knowledge noor time as i work 10-12 hour shifts and have a family I have tried with Grindbot and Gatherbuddy yes. There is no plugin that will do this.

I just thought this was something HB was looking to fix as in previous versions it did harvest mobs like this.
