Nodes yes, mobs no.
A plugin could probably be written to handle the mobs, but none has been done to date. The smart thing to do would is extend the existing node code to handle mobs also. Alas, the Community doesn't have control or even access to that code.

Actually JoeBrewski have gotten it to harvest mobs for scav and bio in his BH/trooper CC.
