Hard to find D3 keys online lately

So it's usually pretty easy to find someone to sell you a (global) d3 key on trade forums. Looks like all of them stopped selling or ran out in the past 2-3 weeks. Anyone else that frequent other trade forums, notice this? Even the goldsellers don't have d3 keys, but they have plenty of wow keys. I've seen people selling global keys as low as $35-$45. I ended up buying it from the local store. Even my usual guy, I buy for $49 does not respond to me anymore. Makes me wonder where these cd-keys come from? I'm sure the margin selling copies of D3 is not that good they could sell for nearly 20-40% off. Even then I'm sure blizzard does not sell keys in bulk to the average joe.

So I'm thinking they are either stolen somehow, key generator (that is no longer working), or they buy off supplier in China.

Anyone know what's going on?

Economically no reason for blizzard to release keys to anyone online. It is direct competition with buying it via bnet.
They receive no guaranteed residual income like WoW or other MMORPGs with a month to month payout. Thus it is stupid to sell to anyone that is going to be a direct competitor of you. IE global online shops.

I am sure they initially sent out a lot of copies/keys to places, to help sell as many as possible in the first quarter. From that point they just need to keep retail stores updated with copies as needed. Giving 2 direct ways to buy the game creating a monopoly like they should to increase revenue.
 
Don't no if trading is aloud so sorry in advance but I have a spare account with a level 60 barb and a 60 monk softcore and a hardcore monk 44 will trade for ingame gold any offers ?

Woot! Scored 2 D3 US Global keys for $35 each today. Guy sent me photo copies of keys and guest passes.
