So,
In light of the ban wave, there is a lot of uncertainty floating around. I'm sure everyone else is itching to get back to business as usual. For myself, it is detrimental that I get leveling immediately if I want to have any hopes of keeping my raid position (I was stupid enough to get my main account suspended). Unfortunately without HB I have no real way of doing that in a timely manner due to my family life. I had around 150$ of gift card credit laying around at work, and since I don't have a lot of time to wait I'm diving in with the most recent HB3 release. I plan on doing mostly leveling/CR when I'm physically at my computer.
Precautions that I have taken:
New External IP ( Incase my previous one was flagged to be investigated)
New router (in case blizzard some how got my gateway Mac address)
New Battle.net with different name/and only use of battle.net cards for payments (in case they link account via names, payment methods, addresses)
Fresh Windows install from 7 to 10 (in case there was a footprint left from my machine, unfortunately I can't use an entirely different machine for testing purposes)
And obviously in regards to the last bullet, a fresh WoW install.
My old account has never been signed in to anything (app, web client, bnet client, etc) on my new IP address.
I'll report back tomorrow after the first cycle of botting is done and I'll give an updage.
Stay safe
