It looks like HackShield is soon going to be replaced by GameGuard.

How will this affect us?

For example:

Are there plans to update ArcheBuddy so that it works with GameGuard, or will AB be discontinued?

If ArcheBuddy is updated, is there any estimate on how long the update will take to build, and how long to test to ensure it's not easily detectable?

Will GameGuard reduce the functionality?

I understand there will likely be a lot of unknowns, and there is always risk, but are there specific features identified that we should be more cautious about using once GameGuard is implemented?

If they do switch it's going to be hard to overcome this nasty bastard.
Google is your friend and the protection they're switching to is a rootkit.
Apparently if it royally jacks up your game you have to restart your PC, not just the game.
It even has a key logger.
As a side note this particular software does not allow games to run on Windows 10.
AA does this bullshit switch? I can foresee a LOT of very unhappy customers.

Staff members will not participate in any way shape or form of mongering whether it be hate, fear, or otherwise. It's very unprofessional and it looks bad.
 
Thanks for the response. I searched for a long time regarding this. I wish i had the other post on here i found. Its more recent, Its not a matter of IF there switching but when. There saying 2 months from now we will be on game guard. The developer "Out" posted saying that nothing will get in the way of the archebuddy from working. Just will take some time. And its illegal for them to install a key logger, They may get away with it in korea but in america trying that will get them a class action and will no longer have any monies because we will take it all.
