Hacked

Very strange occurance last night. I was running hb with arelog and woke up to find my account hacked. They transfered everything of course but the weirdest thing is after they hacked me and xfered my chars they put in a ticket saying I probably got hacked... lol? Anyone every have this happen before?

Hi my account just got hacked probably . A friend of mine alerted me to this issue. I dont know what other steps you recommend I take. Two of my characters we're completely stripped down, bank and all. Not sure what other information you need in this matter. Please let me know if you need more.

All the emails blizz sent me everything is already restored, all I have to do is phone them to get the lock lifted. What a nice hacker! lmao..

Well no keyloggers or viruses on my comp and my password is pretty secure so I really have no clue how they got me.

Same happend to me. Havent found any Virus or Keylogger on my PC. Got all the Stuff back but then i got hacked again and they used my account for advertising their Gold Selling. Account is suspended atm. Anyone got a clue to prevent this ?

Just a moderate suggestion.. seems like you all have the same thing in common along with a few others. I think the DEV's should look more deeply into ARelog as it seems like a lot of individuals are getting hit while using this plugin.

also there are over 750 downloads so far, so lets say there are 300 users running the re logger live right now, and 3 hacked accounts, that would mean that only 1% of the user base has this issue, whatever it is it has to be something specific, however if you where hacked, blizzard should restore the accounts for you, and you might wanna think about using something like keepass, to manage your passwords and use more complex ones, doing so should help prevent these kinds of issues in the future.

I was using FPSware Rogue and just a blank profile running BG Bot. Not that im blaming arelog or hb, I have been using hb for a few weeks fine now. Nothing has really changed in my login patterns and I dont use any other 3rd party stuff besides hb and arelog. Just thought it was weird that there was no keylogger on my computer. *shrug* Like I said the hacker already got everything restored all I got to do is phone them no biggie. Just havent been hacked in about 3 years so wondering what i did wrong. My password was 13 characters with letters/number so its not like someone could have guessed it =/
