Thorncoat Raw Beast Hide Skinning and Primal Spirit Farm

This profile farms the level 100 Thorncoat for hides because they will drop 1-3 each time. I would suggest at least an i600 farmer. Start just north of Riverside Post bridge.

It's not perfect but I can get 250+ hides an hour with an i630 character in this area.

edit: Alliance profile has been added and the run has been optimized to work with regular Grindbot to do a better job of avoiding the wrong mobs

The grind is mainly for the fur/skins but it will drop a small amount of primals as well. I would estimate anywhere between 5-15 per hour it's pretty random you can find nothing or sometimes 3 will drop in 5 minutes.

I use Ninja Skin and Skinning and still it doesnt skin mobs!

FIX: I skins some but if it kills 2 mobs it will just skin the one and go for the next mob to kill.

Your profile seems to be working fine tho, that must be an hb problem.

Search the forum for combat looter plugin. It's not perfect either but it won't leave anything behind. You can also use turn in everything if the artifact fragments are filling your bags

Yes the alliance version starts from Yrel's Watch. Let me know how it works out for you. With the right settings and gear you should get easily over 200 hides per/hr plus plenty of talbuck meat and some primal spirits.

I'm running 0-2 deaths per hour just from pulling too many talbuck sometimes but it is avoiding all the elites and wolves just fine so let me know what kind of stucks or issues as it most likely depends on the class you are using.

Hard profile if you ask me balance druid with resto gear itemlvl 626 but i get the job done ;)


btw any chance you can make this a Gorian Artifact Fragment turn in aswell

Yea I should have mentioned that you will get hit pretty hard if you aggro a bunch of buks lower levels might get wrecked. I think it would be best for a hunter but the skinning would be problematic, so probably try melee class instead.

You should be able to use the turn in everything addon for the fragments, I already got the rep by hand so I stopped picking them up.
 
Profile works well, decent geared feral = 633 gs. Have tested for around 5 hours and got 18 primal spirits + like 800 raw hide, no epics yet.

XP/HR: 0
Kills: 388 (137/hr)
Deaths: 3 (1/hr)
Loots: 430 (152/hr)
Honor Gained: 0 (0/hr)
BGs Won: 0 Lost: 0 Total: 0 (0/hr)
 
terrible for hunter as it aggroes too much (pull more disabled) Then dies getting meleed by charging talbuks while forgetting to loot/ skin

It's been a while since I've given this profile attention. My main issue is accidentally pulling the elite beasts but I plan on making a version for savage blood trapping so it should be better for a high geared players doing that
