About the Profile:

• Currently 50+ Quests in Tirisfal Glades
• Undead race requirement.
• Majority of class quests implemented.
• This profile does use custom behaviors, including Vlad's MoveTo. These are required to do certain steps of various quests.
• This profile will direct when to train, please do not train manually.
• Let the profile play; if it's stuck and there is no error, give it a few minutes.
• Aiming for a solid questing experience; anti-grinding and offering stability.

Setup (Profile):

1. Move the MoveTo.cs to your Quest Behaviors directory.
2. Configure bot settings properly.

Bugs/Problems/Suggestions?
As I continue to build and progress this profile there will always be bugs and problems that pop up. To succesfully track and fix any issues, it would be extremely beneficial for any individual who experiences any technical issues with the profile to leave a detailed post, and if possible, a full log detailing the problem. Any helpful contributions are more than welcome in regards to blackspots, broke quests, or any other issues that might effect the overall usability of the profile. Any suggestions to the quest order or anything to be added, please feel free to drop a line and I'll do my best to incorporate.

Author's Note:
I have absolutely no previous history with any kind of coding, programming or scripting unless you count a few months when I was rather young trying out some IRC scripting, hehe. I purchased Honorbuddy and immediately used Vlad's 1-60 Ultimate Hunter questing profile after trying a few others out and being disappointed a few moments in. Vlad's profile made me realize how good the questing can be with Honorbuddy so I decided after three total days of botting to give this a go. So far, so good. Have received lots of advice, the 10-20 is completed, but not fully AFKable. I would be more than happy to receive any help, pointers, or feedback regarding the profile. It is all appreciated as I'm still learning ;]

If anyone has any alternate methods or suggestions on completing "Planting The Seed of Fear" please let me know. Currently it is working 100%, but I would be interested in seeing if there was an alternative with custom behaviors that didn't require so much scripting for the specific quest that I haven't explored yet.

10-20 is nearly completed, ironing out some issues and incorporating a few more custom behaviors and it will be released. Further testing on the 1-10 version 1.2 would be appreciated; but keep in mind there were a few reworkings in quest order in version 1.3 which is yet to be released. Quest mechanics should be the same, however, so any bug reports would be appreciated.

Currently development on my personal profile project is put on hold. While the factor behind developing this was for my own use as a way to teach me profile building while constructing a profile along the way, I have since decided to contribute to a much larger, and what I believe is a very much more beneficial project for the Honorbuddy community in terms of the Azenius Project.

While I'm not completely halting development on my personal profile, it is currently set aside so I can start working on my section on the Azenius project. Hopefully when the project is finished there would be no use of the community for my Undead 1-60 as this project fully encompasses every race and class combination.

-removed the quest "caretaker caice", which doesnt seem to be in the game anymore, he now directly provides the quest "the wakening"

-added coordinates for caretaker caice since his position seems to be messed up in the library (keeps running to the graves, where caice is standing on a treestump"

a long story short: I got it to work, heres the changed version, i hope it's ok with you i uploaded it.

The profile was created on 6/1/2011, the profile is recent, so I can assure you the quest is still ingame, and I have tested the profile on a daily basis for the last 8 days. The profile was created as I leveled a character from 1-10 and copied the information directly on the first of this month. Please remove your upload from my thread to eliminate any confusion for others as your upload will not properly work as you are missing a quest in the quest order now. Make sure it's an issue with the profile, which this isn't, before editing the profile and uploading an alternate version of it to my thread, please.

Something is wrong on your end with your setup; I just now created a character and accepted the quest. It is from Undertaker Mordo after completing Those That Couldn't Be Saved. After turning in the quest to kill 6 Zombies and you turn it in, Undertaker Mordo will give you the quest you are stating doesn't exist to go talk to Caice, who in turn hands you another quest after turnin.

Here's a screenshot of me accepting the quest, notice the character's name:

Like I said, I'm not sure what the problem could be. It's not with the profile as the quest exists, and all the information for the pickup/turnin is valid and accurate. This was tested strictly on a US English retail realm, not sure if that matters, but if you're playing on a US English realm, the quest is there for you to pickup. Make sure you're playing on a completely fresh level 1, there are no checkpoints.

I figured out what the problem is, i tested your profile on an us realm and it worked flawlessly.Afterwards i tested it on my own realm which is an eu realm, there it didnt work, but it's an issue with the server, after turning in those that couldnt be saved morde doesnt have the caretaker caice quest, and you can accept the awakening without completing caretaker caice.however, if you abandon the awakening after accepting it, caretaker caice doesnt have that quest anymore, therefore mordo then has the quest caretaker caice and you can do the chain normally.


on the picture you can see that i didnt complete those that couldnt be saved yet, but still caretaker caice already has a quest, which is the wakening.

I removed the attached profile, however, if you want that version in order to support eu realms, you can provide it in a second attachment if you like.

Quite interesting, actually. To me, at least. I've powerleveled so many characters on EU realms and wasn't aware of quest order changes, tho, obviously some do exist. While I was leveling and creating the profile, there was an instance where I actually had 3 quests open up that no longer existed, so I wasn't sure if maybe that had happened with the Caregiver Caice quest.

Do you mind running the profile through on the EU server with your copy you edited to see if there are any further issues? And yes, if possible, I would like to be able to provide the EU profile, as well. Feel free to upload it and I will link directly off my OP for now

For the quest order change, i don't think it's intentionally, since the quest is still ingame and acceptable after you abbandoned and retook the prequest.

edit: I'll upload the profile to my first post, when I'm back home, I don't think it needs a seperate thread, unless you want me to open one for keeping a better overview.

Ah, yes, the quest with the Murlocs can be either hit or miss. I haven't looked at any earlier Undead profiles to see how they did it, or if they skipped it, but right now the profile is set to run to a specific Murloc camp, wait 12-15 seconds, and move to the next, while checking quest completion. I have, however, had the same issue where the quest isn't completed and he tries to turn it in. Can I ask if you had successfully scared any Murlocs or if there were 0 scared?

Statistically, the quest should scare enough Murlocs everytime, but their might be the scenario if there's another player around that the timers are too short and the mobs are spread. I don't have a custom behavior that will actually follow the Murloc currently to scare them, so this was the only way I could get it done currently. When I ran the profile through my last time, tho, the quest randomly got stuck trying to turn in the quest with zero Murlocs scared, which shouldn't of happened.

I had hardware issues yesterday and my graphics card fried. All I have right now is my iMac/Macbook and I don't bootcamp, and Honorbuddy isn't Mac-friendly Unable to do too much until I get replacement hardware.

Update:Tested the profile with 6 lvl 1 chars for the caice part and it worked for all.The murloc issue seems to be serverside, i took a closer look at it, if you're standing in the camp all murlocs are feared, but most of the time only the first one that gets feared counts towards the questgoal, which means you have to wait for them to be not scared anymore and run in again, again, this is for eu servers and might not occur on us ones.

I'll test another toon up till level 10 tomorrow and see if there are any other issues, which i doubt.

My 10-20 is completed now, but I have recently started working on the Azenius project, so my 10-20 Undead is being reworked a little bit while I add in the new custom behaviors available to me.

Would love to have your input on the 10-20 once I get it completely switched to the Azenius project if they're still looking for beta testers for the starter areas.

if you want an exact answer, youll have to wait for gnawnsense ones, what i can tell you from my experience is that you might have to complete this quest by hand, as so far its only possible to do it with a workaround, which means that the profile will make you stand in the right spot for some time, and normally the quest should becompleted.

There are however some issues with this quest, which dont have to do with the profile, for further explanation you can have a look at one of my earlier posts.

Update: Did further testing and found out, that on "variety of death" the bot sometimes wont collect the last needed questitem, my suspicion is that this happens due to it being on the water surface, probably adding another point will make this more stable, gonna have a look into that later.

changed the murloc part, so that instead of waiting in the camp it will now chase the baby murlocs until quest is complete.Downside of this change is that hb wont be fighting mobs while doing so, but since at the camp where it does the quest there aren't any hostiles in close proximity this shouldn't be an issue.

IMPORTANT: If you are on a us server, you will have to complete the caretaker caice quest by hand or the profile i posted will not work, I'm trying to find a solution that works around the eu server bug and still works on us realms, too.
