[H - Quest] 58-68 Outland

Indeed a few interesting piece of wall. Did you know that it used to be part of a fort in 1956 it was made by the alliance as main armory to support honorhold.

Added a quest override for that part of the quest

Using it now on a 65 rogue, crossing fingers that HB dont throw alot of wow exeptions..

I am currently compiling a list of quests that have bugs for Outlands. This may not be 100% comprehensive, but I have ran 3 toons now through most of Outlands, and most issues occur on all 3. I have been swapping back between your profile, and Tubajedimr's profile.

What I am going to try to provide both of you information regarding is:

  • Quests that have bugs that generally need some type of manual help with
    Quests that HonorBuddy should be able to handle that were never picked up in the log
    Quests that start by using an item

Hopefully this will be useful information for you both. As I am nearing Outlands being finished on my 3rd account, I'm getting excited and hope to provide useful information to make the next round of accounts go even smoother.

Alright, as I said previously in the thread, I'm going to try to give some feedback on this profile (and Tubajedimr's). I am not going to try to understand things inherent to the profile or quest behaviors, as I don't want to take the time to get into that can of worms. I know that some of these aren't "bugs" or "flaws" as so much as problems with the inherent design of HonorBuddy. I will try to break this down into groups of "problems" that I ran into during my grind.


1) The bot does not pick up these quests that it probably can do:

  • IN PROGRESS

    I am going to go back into Outlands at some point, stop by the quest hubs that the bots use, and check out what quests are remaining that should be very easy to do. For instance, I know the bot doesn't pick up some quests in West Zangarmarsh that are simply, "KILL MOB", because it may be a more "difficult" to do quest. For anyone in BoA's, and most capable Custom Classes, these should not be an issue at all.
2) The bot does not start quests from these item pick ups:
3) The bot is stuck:

  • These are rare, but you should keep an eye on it every now and then. Zangarmarsh was where I had the most difficulty, especially around the Umbrafen mob villages (the little huts that you have to go into).

    Notable, a ranged class trying to attack mobs on floors of the huts that it was below, I had to set my pull distance down to melee range several times.

    I don't remember many other areas where the bots got stuck often enough to require any assistance.
4) The bot tries to pick up quests from a bugged NPC in Netherstorm:

WoW Thanks for that info, currently don't have that much time but ill definitely will look into the suggestions you made and perhaps add them to the profile

Why would a horde want to groundmount pass through Telaar?

Just had the same problem. Bot just kept running up to the level 72 guards and dying over and over again luckily I was sitting right here. But, between Wanted: Giselda the Crone and Idol Viletry it just tries to go through Telaar.
 
That's the thing i'm NEVER afk :)
That's my rule of keeping it safe and fast, bots tend to get in trouble a lot.

Well your probably are going to repair or sell stuff we can't fix that it's HB which doesn't support flying when selling or repairing. If not please tell me between which quests.
 
im using this to relevel my disused horde characters.

eddie, as a horde, the mag'har (garadar, middle of nagrand) need a 5 quest chain completed and then you are friendly and can repair with them. the quests start with Nazgrel and he gives 'the assassin'.
otherwise 2 characters going strong.

The repair should have been moved to the crashed airplain where you get the safari quests. and the profile should complete the quest you mention and stop after The Warchief's Mandate. Are you sure it hasn't?

Saw the topic you posted in my other topic, you did do the quests but didn't have enough rep that is your problem? if so fixed it by adding a bit of a rep grind.

Tryed this profile out and works great. Got me from 60-68, Also did some mining and herbalism 65-66 instead of grinding mobs
