You can gather a ton of mats here from just a few mobs, but you will need to really optimize your HB routine/settings for a high yield.

I wouldn't AFK right away because it's such a small spot you can clear it too quickly. It's also good to play around with the <Avoidmobs> entries (remove or keep) depending on your class and to add randomness. The more ogres and nearby creatures you want to take on will increase the 665 rate while lowering hides and meat.

After an hour I picked up about 6k worth of mats on my server.

It sounds really promising!

I do run different profile for the same zone all-long today, and Im tempted to check yours too.

The problem with the Ogre NPCs around the boars is, that most of them have TONS of HP, usually 335k, and you need decent geared char to take them down quickly enough.ot

Thats why, I blacklisted in the Avoidmobs tag all but the frost one, which happen to be too close to 2 boar spawns, so not good idea to be avoided :/

I guess the repair vendor on the map is Horde only, do you have suitable repair for alliance?

Thanks for letting me know I'm going to revisit this profile to focus more on farming BoEs since the meat prices are dropping. I do similar avoid mobs settings and just kill a few of the ogre types to maximize the efficiency. The ogres and magma mobs are a good area to farm, but I need to make it do a better job of avoiding the lava
