Somewhere around here I read a post saying that claiming the pokecoins I won by beating a gym will probably get me banned.
Is that true? and if so, why is that?
 
You gained Pokemon illegally, of which you've used them to gain an item which could possibly be seen as "income" if you had bought it, thus they're losing money or not making money, off of your success. I reckon it is more paranoia than anything, but you can understand their point of view.
 
they with track u if u put 100IV in gym or your account was sniper for rate pokemon , anyway dont touch in gym if u dont want get banned when ban wave income.
 
ok but, if I fight in the gym , without claiming reward? ...
i become gym leader, but I don't take the dust and pokecoin . I do it just for the glory !
It 's also a reason for the ban/track?
 
don't put your pokemon in gym just fight maybe they can't track but when u put pokemon stand in gym u not claiming reward they can track and u got banned , i think Niantic have set they bot in gym now.
 
I've botted several accounts, and used two of them in gyms. It's only been a week since I put the first one in a gym, but nothing has happened so far. Furthermore, why play this game if you cannot use the gyms? If using Pokefarmer means not using gyms then it is worthless.

In conclusion, you can fight as much as want to level up your gym, but just dont claim the award. Nuff said, you dont really the coins anyway, if your bag is full, get rid of some pokemon or items. If you really want to upgrade your bag, just pay some money for the poor Niantic for it. Anyway, you can claim your money back if your accounts gets banned.

we dont need fight gym now u can wait for they update pvp mode it not worthless.
 
i still fight gym. just to kill other team pokemon and put low cp pokemon to take coin

in my country people will send report to niantic to check other people account to see if you cheating or not. stay low profile
 
maybe we need to wait some days for gym battle.
The n-ianti-c ban accounts because he sees that much experience in too little time ? ok then just wait a few days, add days in our account... or bot with a human configuration. waiting it's not a big deal for us , meantime we can do another account(s), if Time is the only system the n-iantic have for banning us in gym battle, i can't see any problem
