Guys something has to be done.

Hi guys!

Me and some IRL friends of mine are all using the Honorbuddy and ofc we use the Mixmode AV
" It would be stupid not to " ;)
All of us has now seen that ppl are reporting us more and more becourse there are like 4-5 people running the same way everytime and stand on each other in the beginning. And no we dont run the same AV so no point to comment that, we all level in different battle groups.

Today i even saw an discussion about it in the raid and ppl are asking about " The new program for AV farming "

We need to make a new profile that not run to our base from the beginning, and we would be even more safer if we could walk almost as far as the starting gate.
So since we are getting bigger and bigger for each day we need to have something done about this, It would be nice if anyone could take care of this for all of us :rolleyes: i dont have neither the time och the skills to do it, otherwise i would love to help, But on the other hand if i had the time i wouldnt need the program.
So from all us working bees :p "Go go make us a new profile"

This is why i dont bother to write in forums, Becourse there is allways this "smart guy" that has to comment something so unnecessary.

Well then i can tell you this:

This post was made becourse:

~ The "standard profile" needs to be changed,
~ Not all people that uses this program know how to use other profiles.
~ People deserve to be warned.

Whats so wrong about that King?
We should all work together and help out instead of acting like we own the world.

So.. if someone changes the standard profile wouldn't that then become the new standard profile and as such will lead to that new profile being more obvious as well?

The solution is to either make your own which has been made relatively easy with recent posts on the forums, or you can go ahead and use one on the forums that has been provided as an alternative to the standard.
 
If someone releases a new profile then it will become overused and will have the same problem...Just make your own.

I've noticed people following me around in AV, like not the same way Honnorbuddy does.. They actually follow you, and if you kite them around they will get stuck on a tree or something and be stuck until another friendly targets in range, then it i will follow them. Its REALLY annoying to see someone following you around, I never report botters but to be honest this isn't even a bot, its just fucking annoying and draws attention to bots. So yes I report people that are mindlessly "following" me around.

Because if you changed the standard you would have the same thing happen now... How exactly would it change. Everyone would use it because it is the standard....

There are easy guides on the sites that show you this and it takes no more then 5mins to read

I posted the way I did because you couldn't take the time to read or even search for your questions..

The profiles are exsample profiles, Like ALL Bots make your own profile and mesh there are guides on the forum, Next time check the forum before making a new thread as this has been commented on many times before, there are also some more AV profiles on the forum, Hell there's even a guide on how to download your own private server to use for mapping profile and meshes. Next time

Only to add my 2 cent worth it.

I was thinking about defensives profiles (e.g. keeps in base waiting for a defensive action) Or maybe a Plugin that checks if a point needs to be captured, it will try to get that point. Not ramdonly walking around as it does now.

Anyways, you change the default AV Profile and mesh, you come up with the same problem. Solutions? Change the default profile and mesh to your liking, and its not hard. Just map the BG abit more, add a few more hotspots, and your good!
 
I'm sorry but if a NEW standard profile is made, you'll all still be running the same profile. Make your own. Sorry. There's nothing wrong with stating your opinion and why you think it's awesomely true.

This! I've said it over and over.. Sharing BG profiles is not good until the bot gets smarter, then i'll condone sharing of meshes since it's all the same for everyone.
 
Is there any possibility with HB to "bounce" from hotspots like GB does? Something similar to ppather? Would it be possible to code a plugin to randomly select one of the nearby hotspots and go to it? That would force you to make your own profile and mesh of course, but it would make it less botlike.
 
yes i would love for it to randomly select hotspots.
 
you can do that in your .xml ... get a plugin to take hotspots from your .xml that are already in your mesh.

Well the thing about this topic was that the alliance proflie runs to the bridge at the start. I just wanted that part removed so that the bot runs along with everyone else.
In that case the bots will be spread out more on the map insted of dying all at the same time and even spawn at the same graveyard.
Other than that i think the profile is good.

just remove the hotspot it runs to..... bingo?
