I don't know about everyone else's setup, but I bot through two computers.
There's my desktop, that I have everything on Ultra and play my account. And then bot while I sleep.
And then there is my laptop, that I have on the banister of my computer desk. It runs the other five bots spread throughout WoW.
It has always been a pain in my tuckus to build a profile on my desktop, fish for and find my Flash drive and toss it over. And it was even more annoying to have a developed and knowledgeable Badnodes on my laptop, and then when I run it on my desktop... My little harvester derps up all night.
My first attempt was to share a a folder over my network and stick Gather/Honorbuddy in there, and work that way. For some reason, it didn't work. I didn't feel like fighting with it, so I dealt with it.
And then I learned about Dropbox; and I love it.
Installation is simple; You download a small .exe and it does its business. When it's done, there is a small, native folder on your desktop and in your My Documents folder.
Whenenver you place a file in this folder, however large it is, it's immedietly uploaded to the Cloud. And then any computer with Dropbox (and your login information) will immedietly download these changes.
Just drag, drop, and forget. Use later.
You're also able to use Dropbox through your smartphone, browsing pictures and text files.
I'm loving it, and it makes keeping all of my various bots and useful programs in sync easy. I never have to hop onto my laptop and go "Ffff, I'm three weeks out of date!" and scramble to update everything.
You come with a free 2GB of data, more than enough for Honorbuddy and all of the profiles listed on this site.
What's more is, if you sign up through someone's referral link.. Both you and the referrer get an additional 250MB increase.
So, please, if you decide to check this out...
