How-To use PushNotification sender with GilesTrinity​

Dafuq is this shiet ? :

Push notifications are alerts/message you can receive on your mobile phone from any applications, from anywhere (you probably already know what I mean, Facebook use them). TOTALLY FREE.

GilesTrinity now have this feature ! To let you know you dropped a LEGEN... wait for it... DARY !
Each time you'll successfully burn any Act and find legendaries, GilesTrinity will send you an alert, containing Name, Score, and Random Stats of your fresh stuff !

How does it looks ? :

How does it works ? :

It's simple, each times GilesTrinity stash a legendary, the plugin generates a simple URL with the item's stats as parameters, this URL generate a notification and send it to your mobile.

THIS LOOKS SO AMAZINNNNNG! HOW CAN I USE THIS ? :

1st Step : API Generation (Computer)

1. First, you have to register to ProwlApp or NotifyMyAndroid. Choose your username/password and put your e-mail, you're now registered.
2. To use this feature, you'll need an APIKey, unique for each of us. For this, you've to be logged in, after that you'll see this button :

Generate 1 key, name it as you wish (e.g. "TROLOLOGILESBBQZOMFG")

This key, is the last part of this first step, copy this one somewhere, you'll need it for the following parts.

2nd Step : iPhoneApp configuration (iDevice)

1. You must have the 'Prowl' Application, pretty sure that many of us can have it for free *cough*, install it or buy it (2.99$)
2. Open this one, and you'll be able to see this screen :

These informations, are your registration informations from the website, you have to use same username/password.
Here we go, you're now logged into your Prowl application on your mobile.

MAKE SURE YOU'VE REGISTERED YOUR DEVICE/MOBILE ON THE WEBSITE (ProwlApp check "current devices")


2nd Step (bis) : Android configuration

1. You must have the 'NMA' Application, you can download it HERE
2. Open this one, and you'll be able to see this screen :

Here we go, you're now logged into your NMA application on your mobile.

3rd Step : DemonBuddy configuration (Computer)

1. This part is short, Open DemonBuddy, open Trinity's config window, select the "Mobile" tab, and put your APIKey in the correct field:


You're now ready to monitor every legendary drops ANYWHERE, AT ANY TIME \o/ !!​
You can also put your app in "quiet mode" during the night, you'll understand what I mean ;)​

I can't see the "Mobile" tab in the settings, what happend?
Mobile notifications is a feature available in the 1.4.9.1 and future releases, you must have the latest version to use it. Check them out THERE

I encounter one the following errors, what should i do?

[td]I can't really do something for that, seems like your application/IPA/Jailbreak is corrupted, you obviously didn't bought it so check your phone, anothers websites or IPAs it should work. If not, your iPhone needs a restoration. LOL![/td]

Also for those of you with a jailbroken phone the Jailbroken app will not work! You need to pay for the app to get an account on their website.
 
For those with jailbroken iPhone(only works with some iPhone):
THE FIX:

Most people who have jailbroken their iPhones have mobilesubstrate installed and probably SBSettings.* In order to get Prowl push notifications working on your jailbroken iPhone you need to reboot your iPhone into safe mode and then launch Prowl and let it register your iPhone.

You can do this by opening SBsettings.* Hit Power.* Then press Safe Mode.* Once you are in safe mode just open up the Prowl app and it will register your iPhone.* You can now reboot into regular mode and growl push notifications will be working.

Just put my phone into Safe Mode using SBsettings and did not work for me unfortunately :( Still get those 3 error messages

Which errors do you have? do you try creating account on the website or on the iPhone App? :o

Create your account on the website, have you bought the app or downloaded it? in this case, check your app, seems like it's broken somewhere Oo (Try reinstall)

The website where the download is... ^^ sometimes beginners don't know how to *rip* an application from an iphone so you get corrupted IPAs.
 
I have an iPhone with 3.1.3 soft and it doesn't work. I'm trying to launch it but instant crash happens ofc in safe mode.
