This is my first guide, as the time goes I will be doing this for other classes aswell.
This is mainly for Grinding. For Questing I would suggest you focus more on stamina to make sure you dont die with multiple mobs, damage won't matter that much since killing a mob in 7 or 8 seconds won't make such difference.
I expect some feedback, if you don't agree with something please don't hesitate saying, as long as you know what you are talking about.

10-14 : Ancestral Knowledge
15-16 : Improved Ghostwolf ( This will speed up things until level 20, when you get your mount respec and take this talent off )
15-19 : Thundering Strikes
20 : Shamanistic Focus
21-23 : Elemental Weapons
24 : Improved Shields
25-29 : Flurry
30 : Spirit Weapons
31-35 : Thoughness ( Extremely helpful if you are questing, if you feel that your toon doesnt have problems surviving and if you are using a good profile to grind, level Improved Shields to max, pick Unleashed Rage earlier and then go for Static Shock. )

Itemization
- I suggest you trying to use Agility/Stamina items mainly, for a better survival and damage. Use the highest DPS 2 handed weapon available for you. You wont have burst so you need to make sure that you survive if you agro more than 1 mob. (1-40)
- After that you can go for Agility and Atack Power items, and you want to use two 1 handed weapons with high base damage (slow weapons). Don't forget that at this point Intelect also gives you Atack Power at the same rate Strenght does 1:1 (40-80)
Overall
- Shaman certainly is one of the most boring class to play with until 40, it will be such a pain to bot this due to lack of spells all you do is Flame Shock, Earth Shock and Auto Atacks.
- And after 40 is one of the fastest characters, with dual wield you will give massive damage, then you will have Stormstrike and Improved Stormstrike which leads to zero downtime.
CC's
- At this point there are no supported Custom Classes for Shaman, you have the ShamWOW as default for HB2 which won't be updated soon unless someone works on it. Fpsware is working on The One CC which will support shaman. Stay tuned.
