Overview
1. Import WowHead data of all existing nodes into our GatherMate2 add-on (an add-on that shows gathering nodes on the map and the minimap).
2. Create in game route by using Routes addon and optimize it.
3. Convert our in game route to HB profile using RouteBuddy HB plug-in.

Step by Step
1. Download and install WoW addons, which are esential for our task:
2. Download and install HB plug-ins
3. Start WoW and log in.
4. type /gathermate
4.1 Go to GatherMate->Import
4.2 Select node types
4.3 Select expansion
4.4 Click Import
5. type /routes
5.1 Choose Add
5.2 Type in name into Name of Route field, press Ok button
5.3 Select wanted Zone from the Zones list
5.4 Scroll down and select wanted nodes from GatherMate section
5.6 Press "Create Route"
5.7 From plugin options, go to "Routes"->"Yout selected zone"->"Route name"
5.8 Go to "Optimize Route" tab.
5.9 Select "Extra optimization"
5.10 Set "Cluster Radius" to 50
5.11 Click on Cluster
5.12 Click on Background
5.13 Wait until you will receive task finish notification in the chat window. May take couple minutes.
5.14 Move to the continent of the zone you have selected it's needed for RoutesBuddy HB plugin to work.
6 Start HB, log in.
6.1 Go to Plugins tab, enable RoutesBuddy and click on RoutesBuddy button on the right.
6.2 Press Import, select your Route.
6.3 Change Profile Type to HB.
6.4 Click on Export, select your profile folder.

P.S. Constructive criticism is welcome, I am new to HB/GB using it for a week or so

* Changed Gatherer to GatherMate2 plugin as Gatherer DB is not updated for Cataclysm, thanks to shadows.
Update 1.2 :
* Added route clustering, makes optimization faster and is a must if you have more then 724 nodes.

Pros
- Fast
- All or only specific nodes
- Good for mining or herbalism or both.
- All available nodes in the zone
- Routes provides in-game route editor
Cons
- Does not takes into account factions, and route can pass on hostile faction areas.
- Generated route is not navigation perfect, may contain areas that are hard for passing/navigation.
Step by Step
