The Garrison Followers Leveling generally takes a lot of time and it bores us all, at least after the Xth alt, processed today.

Taking it shorter is something, which can be done, following a "short" and steady path:

1. It is essential to build Barracks Tier 1 initially - max it out to Tier 3, when possible, for rising the cap of active followers from 20 to 25.

2. Build Lunarfall Inn/Frostwall Tavern Tier 2 as soon as possible and start recruiting followers - Keep in mind, the recruitment is on weekly reset schedule, similar to raid locks.

3. Prepare the common sources for follower upgrade tokens - Salvage Yard and Dwarven Bunker/War Mill: Both, when upgraded to Tier 2, have chance to give follower tokens per Work Order. Of course, when maxed to Tier 3, they gives more follower tokens - The Bunker/War Mill even have daily quest with 100% reward for weapon or armor follower token.

4. Once you have enough followers on level 100, arrange them manually or setup your favorite Garrison Missions tool into the 8 000 / 10 000 / 12 000 / 15 000 / 20 000 XP missions for the best XP leveling curve to make them all Epic!

5. When your character is level 100, earn the Harrison Jones follower by completing its 6 daily quests, rolled in the T3 garrison - Usually done within 8-12 days, depend on the daily quests RNG.

6. Powerlevel any follower to lvl 100 in single mission! Any low level 90-99 follower, teamed up with Harrison Jones and other follower with Extra Training and/or Hearthstone Pro Traits gives full experience plus extra 30 / 35% Group Bonus Experience to the low level followers.

7. If this is the first level 100 character on the Battle.net account, focus on the Item Level Army - Achievement - It will unlock the 645 weapon / armor tokens, bought for 500g each from the vendor in the Garrison Hall. If this is not your first lvl 100 character and still not unlocked the achievement - just focus complete it on your most developed character, should be way faster.

Check and understand the Followers basics and mechanics from the popular Wowhead guide: Warlords of Draenor Follower Guide
There you can check how to recruit the most (or all) followers available.

Keep in mind, if you have leveled your character with Kicks 90-100 or other paid questing 90-100 profiles, you already have a steady pack of 10-14 followers, obtained just by questing in the Draenor zones.

The most desired followers cannot be obtained just by running a single questing profile.

They require dedication - completing quests on daily or weekly basis or require to unlock specific achievement in group or raid environment, like these below:

Harrison Jones - Achievement Don't Call Me Junior

Nat Pagle - Tier 3 Fishing Shack and Draenor Angler achievement

Phylarch the Evergreen - Tier 3 Lumber Mill

Dowser Bigspark / Dowser Goodwell - Honored with 6.2 factions Hand of the Prophet / Vol'jin's Headhunters

Pallas - Honored with 6.2 faction The Saberstalkers

Solar Priest Vayx - Honored with 6.2 faction Order of the Awakened

Oronok Torn-heart - 6.2 Garrison Campaign

Leeroy Jenkins- Heroic Upper Blackrock Spire

Millhouse Manastorm - Heroic Upper Blackrock Spire

Croman - Heroic Bloodmaul Slag Mines

Meatball - Brawler's Guild rank 5

Aknor Steelbringer - Normal, Heroic or Mythic Blackrock Foundry.

Ariok - Normal, Heroic or Mythic Hellfire Citadel.

Garona Halforcen - The Legendary Ring Quest line.

Most of them are not easy to claim, but they worth the time and efforts!
