Grind bot issues and unhelpful HB Log ticker

The first issue I get the is following error using any profile with Grindbot:

StyxWoW.AreaManager.CurrentGrindArea is null

Re-downloading HB etc does not work and it is doing this for ALL grind profiles for me.

Additionally the log ticker at the bottom of the HB screen never seems to actually display anything useful for me (it seems to always be one or two steps behind no matter what).
