[Quest] Apexis Crystal Quests - 14 Profile Compendium

This post will contain a compendium of profiles for each of the zones where the daily quests take place,

It is a work in progress, and I will add the profiles as I complete the daily quests. Which means, at best, I can have all of the profiles updated within 2 weeks.

The Apexis Crystal fills a similar role to Valor Points in that you can buy raid-quality epics with them. They are different in that they do not drop from raids or have other uses such as item upgrades (which are not found at all on WoD gear).

There are 14 different Daily Quests that will reward you with 800 Apexis Crystals once you turn the quest in. Both Horde and Alliance have the same quest, and you retrieve the quest from your personal Garrison. As I acquire the different daily quests, I will create profiles for each one. If there is a perfectly working profile, I may add their profile into the compendium to save time if the Author's of those profiles are willing.Daily Quests: (Links to the WowHead quest page)


  • These profiles will assist you in completing your daily quest. SOME mobs drop Apexis Crystals, but not ALL.
  • You are responsible for picking up the Quest. (Selecting the Quest is under Development, eta unknown)
  • If the profile is a Quest Profile, you should be able to click Play no matter where you are. (Update)

Frostfire Ridge
  • Assault on Magnarok(Updated to a Quest Profile & Fixed Hotspots 12/26/2014)
  • ​Assault on Stonefury Cliff​ (Updated to a Quest Profile 12/26/2014)
  • Assault on Iron Siegeworks(Updated to a Quest Profile 12/26/2014)

Shadowmoon Valley
  • Assault on Darktide Roost (NEW! Added 12/30/2014)
    • No Extra Rep​
    • Does a loop around the entire island and onto the pier.
  • Assault on Pillars of Fate(Updated to a Quest Profile 12/26/2014)

    • This profile takes a while, as I am still working on the code to release the Arakkoa Outcasts who are chained up.

  • Assault on the Gorian Proving Grounds
  • Assault on the Broken Precipic (NEW! Added 01/01/2015)
    • Reputation Gained: Steamwheedle Preservation Society
      • You gain this reputation by collecting Gorian Artifact Fragments.
      • v2.0.0 will have a turn in ability for these items once you collect a certain amount, or complete the quest objectives.
  • Assault on Mok'gol Watchpost(Updated to a Quest Profile 12/30/2014)
    • ​Small area, bot at your own risk.

Ogres in Broken Precipice in the NW corner of Nagrand drop apexis crystals whether you have a quest or not :) not to mention steamwheedle rep items!
 
I'm having an issue with targeting the mob's, and I'm not quite sure why. The code looks correct to me, but I'll keep hashing at it.

Maybe a second set of eyes can see the error. Here's what I have thus far:

when i make a grind profile all i do is put all factions like <Factions>88960 0000 0000 00000 </Factions>
so on so are all the mobs the same faction all diffrent if there all the same should only need the 1 faction but if diffrent jsut add it to the others as shown above for me ive never had to add the names an id;s of each npc mob only in a Questing profile.if im right should be a easy fix if anything ill make a fast profile with info u have an post u can see if it works

I just went up there without the quest, killed 32 Ogre's and Giants, didn't get a single Apexis Crystal. I did get a bunch of gold and 71 Gorian Artifact Fragments though.

Thank you, I had forgotten about the Factions. I used an old profile of mine from the Pet Battles groupings I did years ago. Hell, I haven't played WoW since prior early on in Pandaland, so I need a bit of a refresher in HB I think.
 
Good luck with this :) I would just like to advise caution when botting in these areas as they have a large amount of players running around in the area, stay safe!

well i did that,and it runs to the shore on mount and goes in to the water...so guess it's not working for me?

Need a little more information then just that. Where did you begin at? Inside your Garrison? AT the location itself?

Today's Daily Quest update shall be ... /drumroll
Magnarok!

I just need to check the area throughly and make sure the path I create is Elite Free, then I'll get it built for all you wonderful people.
 
I have added in today's daily of Magnarok.

Please note, I did not test this profile. I am having some major issues with the Singular CC - Shadow Priest, and every time I attempt to update the Routine, HB starts crashing upon opening. Which causes me to do a complete re-install of HB just to get it working again.

Once I have it up, I will thoroughly test the profile and ensure it works, and update if needed; however, I'm confident that in its current state, it should work fine.

When we have the quest active, are we supposed to see trash drops of shards? Or is this just to complete the quest? On the first day I thought I was getting trash shard drops, but don't seem to anymore (1st day was pits though vs. malkorok)
 
I only got shards off killing the elites here. The trash mobs don't seem to drop them. Yes I have the quest.
