Greedy Botters?

Not sure how i feel about this one,
Wanting to do some farming in a good botting spot only to find someone had joined my farming efforts.
I soon realized this was a bot, a pretty terrible bot at that.

Being the good guy i am, having botted the spot for 4 hours already, i decided to move on and try again in 5 hours. Sure enough, still there.
I decided no point cutting in on his farming as there are barely enough creatures around for 1 person.
So i log off and attempt it again in the morning, once again still there, i try at lunch time still there!!
its almost been 24 hours of botting!!!

I'm really starting to get frustrated with him. I don't want to bot around him because he is so obvious.

Whats everyone else think?

*I ended up finding a new farming spot to try for a while, and left his bot to do its thing.

lvl80 right? I always get paranoid over threads like this encase its me lol
 
Really nothing you can do about it.
You either find another stop or you just bot with him.
I see people botting all the time in the basin, I use the Muilti farm which goes through Ice Crown, The Basin, and Storm Peaks. Which is good because I am never in 1 spot for a long time so I think it is a pretty safe profile plus I am not like I said in one spot for a long time to where it would be obvious that I am a bot, only way you might find out is if you followed me for a while probably.
 
Yeah, i got that while farming Eternal Fire's in SP. This Deathknight farmed for about 48 hours straight... Was not happy! xD
 
haa haa, i would never name or dob any botter in.
but i think he needs to be a bit more careful, the one i followed was 70, probably designed to bot this area and not level anymore.
 
alot of botters are assholes and will report everyone they see. Its a tuff market out there and the competition is just that, competition. Being that I develop CCs I can spot a Convalesce or Cimmerian user almost instantly. I have yet to report a botter. But if their were days of the Code of Honor between botters, they are long gone now.

I see botters all the time you can usually notice them by the way then land on herbs/mines etc and other ways I leave them though and dont report them. I dont know why because I can pretty much guarantee that im reported by every other botter going.
 
Yeah I think it is fucked up to bot and report other botters. I see botters all the time I don't report them.

or something like that, I think it is fuck wrong it's like a law not to report botters if your a botter yourself. Like a code botters should follow lol.

idk if it is just me but like I can tell if someone is using HB or GB between like mmomimic, GB / HB seems to run much smoother then mimic does.
 
Theres a guy on my server who i know for a fact is running Stormpeaks Herbalist's dream because were like dry humping each other over herbs

Back when I used e-bot before it got closed down and moved etc the bot would like fly over teh herb/mine and then drop directly over it, after watching it a while I managed to pick out atleast 4 other people using the same bot or other similar bots.
 
I don't believe in reporting other botters. Its hypocrisy at its finest. However, I don't sell gold so I don't know how the competition is like. I don't imagine one or two botters to be much harm to your business, though.

Yeah I remember a while ago like 3 other people were using the same exact GB profile I was using because we were like up each others asses when farming out on a strom peak profile.

Not for me too much because I use the multi profile takes me through Ice Crown, Basin, and Storm Peaks.
 
I see this all the time, before botting I dont think I would have recognized them. But using GB now, I see many people all the time running same paths as me.
 
Sure hope it's not my Dk you're referring to...

We're shooting for 80 by Monday.
 
But what's the matter ? It won't change the amount of things you'll gather, and not even increase the ban chance :confused:
 
If I see someone farming a profile I know what it is for this long. I reverse it and go the other way. He'll leave when he can't farm shit because the stuff ahead of him is already gone.
 
just to sumarise the happenings of mr botter :P
It seems he has botted for 40hours straight, and still going...and yeah
he is a pally :P

I /w him and tried to warn him how dangerous it is....some naughty botters out there :P
Ill keep an eye on the ban thread incase he pops up and complains about being caught.
