GPS Plugin causing "Object Reference not set to an instance of an Object" error

When enabling the GPS plugin I get a pop up error dialog box that says "Object Reference not set to an instance of an Object". When I click OK Archebuddy crashes and closes. I've reinstalled a several times to no avail. At first I could get away with moving the error box off screen and everything seemed to function fine, but now it completely locks up ArcheBuddy when it pops up. I was going to attach some sort of log for you guys but the only one I see in the Logs folder is a bunch of special characters when opened. Any idea what could be causing the problem?

same thing is happening to me. If I try to stop the GPS plugin, it crashes. I ignored the error warning and it works normally...

I let it run for 2 hours when i came back there were 4 error message popups and crashed when i clicked the warning dialogue box. seems like the update broke something in the GPS module?

Send your logs to the guy that responded here. A couple of us are having the exact same issue but yours is slightly different. Maybe it's caused by the same thing.

im getting this same issue but my customer support ticket has yet to be answered.
