I have casually been botting up until the first banwave up in november. Just was doing public herb routes. Did them for about 8 hours a day. Would do Suramar pretty much every other day, and each of the other zones one day a week. Combined that with watching the AH for cheap herbs. and creating potions/flasks.
Played on a small server. Completely controlled the market. Selling flasks for 1400g/per and potions for about 350g/per. If I didn't post on a Tuesday, people didnt have potions pretty much. One of the only rank 3 of everything alchs on the server.
Wanted to give a back story to this. Got up to just shy of 4 million since the launch of Legion. Only coming into the xpac with about 500k.
Problem with small pop servers is... who the heck posts nice things auction house. Got a couple cool pets here and there but I really just wanted a Spectral Tiger. Wanted that mount since it first came out. Thought it was the best thing ever.
Haven't had one listed on my server in the 2 years I've been on it.
Guild decides to xfer servers. They choose one of the top 5 high pop servers. I xfer my alt guild full of gold over. and low and behold. Spectral Tiger is sitting on the AH for a mere 2.5 million. (I know its below 2 mil on some servers, but who cares I want this thing).
I am now sitting in Dal, on my Tiger. Smiling.
Don't have a current bot account going, but still only possible because of my poor ole Herb Bot =D
