This is a thread about ppl bying new accounts after getting hit by a banwave. Is it safe to start boting (lvling) right after getting hit, or do you w8 couple of days/weeks. Do you change ip adress or use any sort of protection ? The reason i am posting this is coz of ppl reporting getting rebanned the day after they bought 3-4 fresh new accounts. Offc the reason for this might be impropper lvling (too much games/hour short runs) or it could be blizzard having an eye on the ip.

The strange part in my case is that after getting hit on 8/9 boting accounts, the one that remained did nothing differently, transfered items and everything jsut like anyone else. Now the rfact that all got hit at the same time is obvious proof that they are monitoring ip addresses, need i take some extra precautions or just go with it ? I am quite sure that this "safe" account is pretty good candidate for a ban. Could it be they are w8ing on me to buy new accounts, just to have them rebanned again by monitoring the old one ? I just cannot ignore the fact that they left out a 3 months old boting account, while baning all the rest (some were week old).

I'd change my IP.
After that i would start over if the money is worth it

If they Ban me right away i would try to find a way to modify my HW address.

Edit: If a banwave hits me i would try to find out why.. Banwave = something is very detectable and alot of ppl using it.

i had 2 major banwaves... lost 23 accounts in total
mostly to my 24/7 farming... i changed my aggressive 24/7 behavior no ban for over 12 weeks

whats your non agressive behavior like? How many hours/day a week? Also mixing up profiles?

Tony, I remember a bluepost that mentions a banwave, I don't remeber where to find it...
Also, the recent change (slight rise) of a gold's price can reflect massive bans of chinese bots.

get a clue, if there was a "ban wave" this forum would have 300+ viewers and hundreds of posts from the same day.

I don't talk bout db botters, thou a lot of ppl won't tell you any info about their ban IMO. I talk about massive bans. My friend was hacked, he was lazy and only recovered his acc after 7-10 days, he had 25 bots in friendlist (IMO all chinese tnt bots farming random dungeons), they were all banned 5 days ago, just all of them went offline.

6 of my accs get banned on last friday, none of them are running 24/7, they were 12-14hrs daily, 3 of them were 17 days.old,3 of them were only 10 days, the ban may be due to the days when nav/auth.server failed on.db totally no idea why would my accs get banned

You need to get a clue, banwaves happen in the span of a month or so. Not in a single day, they do it in increments.

I got hit on sept 5th. Lost my main account which I just bought gold from some website. It was farming inferno A1. Another account was still leveling and survived. Got 1mre account and being botting since sept 6th. I bot from 14 to 24hrs per day. So far so good.
