Well it seems Blizzard Finally gave something for free :

Thank you for subscribing to World of Warcraft? Remote!

We?re pleased to let you know that as of 08/23/2012, all of the features that were previously part of the World of Warcraft Remote service will be made available for free to all World of Warcraft subscribers -- including you!

That means you?ll be able to access all of the World of Warcraft Remote features you?ve come to enjoy at no additional charge, including:

- Remote Auction House: Bid on items, create auctions, and collect gold via your mobile device or through the official World of Warcraft website.
- Remote Guild Chat: Keep in touch with your guildmates via the Mobile Armory app.

That means that u can remote aH/sell/retrieve gold ! without having to pay that 4euro fee!

Just remember you can only do this with accounts that aren't currently logged in to the game.....
So although it sounds nice, you won't be able to use this whilst you're botting. That suddenly makes it a whole lot less useful.

Again: No, not on the account you're running your bot on.
The remote app can only access accounts that are currently not in the game.

it is still good news because I don't bot 24/7
i bot once in the 2 weeks while i'm sleeping so :3
I already use this but its saving me 3 euro an months

Well, you can shutdown the bot via Internet.
 
This works quite well with hbreloger lets say you mine 3 hours idle for 2 hours in the mean while you can use the phone app to sell your stuff and collect the gold = profit.
Of course this doesnt work for people who 24/7 lol :cool:
 
Just so you know guys , it will not allow you to do stuff if your bot is online for the server the bot is active

Scenario : Account has 2 bot chars 1 on aszune and 1 on Stormscale for instance.
Bot runs on Aszune you can :
- Chat to the guild chat and receive / send wispers (with the bot that plays -awesomesauce )
Bot that is on the same account on Stormscale server
- Chat to the guild , wispers
- Auction browse / bid / buyout
- Retrieve mail gold / relist AH items that didnt sell

Where'd you get that info m8?
It used to be that you couldn't log in to any character on the same WoW account as a character that's online. So even if they were on different servers you still couldn't do anything. They may have changed that but that would've had to be in the last couple of weeks.
 
I am actively using Remote the 2nd day it was released. Still using it as we speak , on multiple bot accounts + main . :)

so you bot on aszune... and stormscale... gg... now i wonder wich one of the transmog farmers you are :P
 
I don't bot 24/7 so I love the fact this thing went free to use, cause I can just lay in bed and talk to my guildees when I'm unable to sleep lol. (Though I did pay for it for like 2 months) ... so I got the pet and gave it to my friend since my hubby had already gifted me the blizz pets for Christmas. I dont need bling to make me happy just WoW pixels!

actually just tested this and you are incorrect. Not sure if this has been said yet but I was logged in chatting in guild with another toon on the same account while it was botting on another toon on the same account
 
As i said, you can at the previous post, full chat functionality exissts regardless of your logged in toon. :)
