Goldguide (Made 60k in one week)

I thought i might share my method of gaining gold in WoW. I've been broke for quite a while till i "used" a friends account to get some money out of jewelcrafting. I made quite a bit of money so i made jewelcrafting my main profession.
I made 60k Gold in 1 week with this strategy
--> i got up to 75k gold total until i started to spend everything on huge investments
--> i bought: Travelers Thundra (18k), 2x Darkmooncard: Greatness (2x10k), 1x Chopper (17k) + a Chopper for my friend (17k) and still got about 15k left

So what do you need for this to work:

- 2 Professions: Jewelcrafting(390) / Enchanting (325)
- 500-1000g starting money

What you gonna do?

1. Farm saronite ore and don't sell it.


2. Prospect all the saronite - you'll get the rare gems (craft them in something usefull - check which stones go for a lot of gold in the auctionhouse) - you'll also get some uncommon gems (keep the blue/yellow/orange/red gems - you will not need the green/purple stones)

Edit: Some asked which gems are usefull: It highly depends on your server and what the demand is for that gem at the moment. Sometimes Vivid Forest Emeralds sell for 35g+ and sometimes an Enduring Forest Emerald is worth more. If you just started this method or you don't do a high mass of prospecting then you only wanna make the highest priced gems. Otherwise you just make every gem that goes for 15g+ (around 5-8 at the time) and put it in the AH. The color matters too, on my server Red > Yellow > Purple > Orange > Blue > Green. Of course you need to do the JC-Daily or buy the damaged necklace for new recipes. Usually i just go to the AH a couple of times and see which gems are selling the highest, then i know which recipe i'll buy next.

3. Transform all your eternal earth into crystalized earth.

4. Use the gems + crystalized earth for the following recipes:
Bloodstone Band
Crystal Chalcedony Amulet
Crystal Citrine Necklace
Sun Rock Ring

Yes it will take a bit of time - but those are the most efficient items to make.

You'll get a lot of infinite dust and lesser cosmic essences (make greater cosmic essences out of them) - you can sell those mats for a pretty high price at the AH.


You might ask why i don't have more money if i could make 40k a week - simple answer: there is nothing to buy anymore and i rather do pvp or raid, since i still got 15k left.
 
Those methods are way old, and on most of the servers they are already known.
The guides are server dependant also, prices arent equal on every server.
 
Known about this for the last year...not really that effective anymore as everyone with them professions know about it and the price for enchanting mats has dropped ALOT...what I used to do to make more gold was to buy armor/weapon velums and put enchants on there from the mats I got, was mainly SP ones...ones I knew people would need after a raid...maximised my profix by 3x's easily..

greatness 10k gold? LOOOOOOOOOL on all servers are 2-5k MAX

Still for those who didn't know about it before its a rather nice adition.

The bad side is that it requires time to micro-manage all the resources.
With 1 botting account it can be done but with 3 ore more it will be rather dificult and time consuming.
 
Farming huge amount of ore ? Now, with all the "filters" Blizzard have put to track farmers...

You will be quickly banned.

Farming more than 8 hours with one toon and mailing to an alt is a thing of the past. ;)
 
you can farm any ammount of ore you want. as long as you stay within "human" limits. i.e. no humans is going to run around and get ore all day long. not to fesible. Also when it comes to mailin to other toons, thats why you form a guild and transfer that way. I did this a long way back. like everyone else and it waqs a good time then. what do i do now. vendor the darn saronite. on my servers 25g a stack is not to much less then you would get on the AH. I actually had a 72h ban a while ago and talked to one of the reps on the phone about it. They stated that i was exploiting the economy. they didnt tell me exactly what it was that they were trackign but i knew. So i told him what i was doing with vendoring the saronite instead of selling it. After a few tickity tacks, he actually agreed that yes it wasnt much more then to put it on the AH. after that they lifted my account. Case in point. You can make all the money in the world. just make sure you got a good explanation and some time on your hands. i was on hold for 3 hours before talking to them.

Agreed those statements above yours ab... is bullshit. I run sometimes for 40+ hours straight. No bans yet. (Knock on wood).

There isn't some big watchful eye guys. It comes down to you being seen by other players or ninja'ing a node to be whispered and never answer to it. That's how you get banned. From other players.

I notice you have alot of bans, maybe you should retire. ;)
 
I can not make claim to this as am sure i got it from a post on here but it better explains what you are talking about

an a little excel file to do the math for you the file is up loaded as .txt you will need to change it to .xls as i could not upload an excell file i done it this way ^^:cool:

This is extremely old. It's known as the Saronite Shuffle. As someone who played AH legit for a long time, let me tell you this is nowhere near as effective a it used to be. It's still a profit, but for the amount of saronite quantity you get from botting to the amount you'll sell using the shuffle, you'll get overstocked and it's easier to just sell raw.

If you still wish to use this method, I'll make a thread in a minute on how to fully utiliize the addons available to make this process automated.

I would like to see how to make this all easyer if you can plz doing it now with my bot and tyook me close to an hr lastnight doing this
 
Greatness 3.5k on my server if you are lucky. JC and Glyphs are not worth the time now on my server, I bot for about 5 hrs a day, make about 2k selling the mats and not doing anything with them, thats enough for me.

I've created a guide template but it's missing a lot of information. I can't go into too much details as I'm at work. Once I'm home I'll add screenshots and organise it better.
