Golden Lotus

I am trying to figure out how to farm Golden lotus on top of my normal ore gathering, But I dont see a Golden lotus selection in GB2, so i either have to enable everything or nothing for MOP mats, because it seems gb2 isnt updated to contain the selection for all the new herbs

I think Golden Lotus is random spawn when u perform gathering so there is no selection for it,or a profile,and i think it is only Herbalism so no ore gathering but HERB gathering,but i think you got mining/herb as profession,just bad expression

Indeed, golden lotus is a chance from any herb, choose a gathering profile and hope for the best....or farm motes to buy them.

Not true. Golden Lotus has its own spawn location nodes. I've seen them while playing. They're just very rare, few, and far between. It would be easier to buy them with Spirits of Harmony than it would be to farm them. According to wowhead though, they spawn the most in Jade Forest, but I'm leaning more towards that count being the random spawns within another herb node, like you two were talking about. However, Golden Lotus does have its own node. I've harvested them. Like in older content, they would appear as a green node, since they are pretty uncommon to find.
