Gold4Key - HMMMMmmmm,,, 0.o

So last week i found out about this website called Gold4Key, people on these forums said that had a good reputation etc etc.

So they gave me a price and i was lucky enough to get EU BATTLECHEST for only 13k Gold which as gatherbuddy people know is EASY work. I met in org and traded the gold and waited like 12hours for them to actualy send me the key, but i got it in the end so not to bad. I thought it was a good deal over all and thought i would go back to them in the future.

Today they started quoting me 20k gold for WOTLK, i thought that was far to much, then after talking for a long time she changed the price to 16k gold. This was a bit of a shock and then she told me that i had to trade with a player (level 80 in icc),, so its not actualy their accounts, im trading with REAL people in game, which I think is very dangerous for my account.

I was asked to send 10k gold to this lvl 80 guy,,, and then once done i wud give the last 6k gold to this lvl 1 guy.

She kept telling me to give the money to the lvl 80 and wouldnt actualy answer my question

"If i do this trade are you sure the other guy is comming to pick up the 6k ? !!"

I did the trade and took two screenshots, like asked. I sent one in and she immediatley went

"You only took ONE screenshot,,,," and im like,, "No i took 2 as you asked, and i knew you would act lik this" (i predicted they would like an excuse not to give me the card)

Then after that she told me to give the last 6k gold to this lvl 1 guy, so i said ok, then she told me to go running to HIM to give him the gold in mulgore pmsl ? ! I was like, no thanks ill wait in org.

She then complained after this that i had only taken two screenshots and that she would need a third screenshot of the "Trade is complete",, she never said that to me in the 1st place..

I have now been waiting a few hours and the card has not arrived and i feel like i am being messed around.


You can take this either way u want, u can think they are just doing their job or u can think they are taking the piss.

My opinion is that i could have EASILY have lost 16k gold if i hadn't been carefull,,, hmm.

They are a good company you just have to read what they tell, or if you don't understand or don't know don't be afraid to ask. It's common sense.

Fair enough but do u not think its dangerous to be trading public palyers and not trading to bank accounts.

Coz they wouldnt hesitate to report me if anything went wrong, and then a gm could find all my previous trades and id be screwed.

OHH !! And btw, if anyone was wondering, i found out that they sell their gold for 38Euros per 10K !!! 0.o making quite a nice profit there !

I am messaging the people after and building a list of private sellers.

Well firend, I guess they fucked you up.
As I read your post the point was clear to me that they where tryring to cheat you and I guess you won't get any stuff.

In my opinion, if you first time trade with them they will give you a damn good offer but at 2nd time you will be cheated.

Furthermore I guess ppl of Gold4keys are here in this community and tell ppl "I never had prolems with them" or "Everytime the offer me best prices".

So IMO don't trade with those fuckers.

A few sites actually ask you to take screen shots of gold before, trade complete message and gold sent so this is nothing new.
As for price changes... well the price fluctuates to meet demand.

Give them a little bit longer to get your payment to you and then try contacting them again. If this fails then you just need to move on and not use them again.

Yea Advertsing gold Webpages Is not Exactly Smart. that only makes the person you advertise no longer have high demand and good prices.

But yea gold4key is instant ban for sure so is that other one. Because to many people running around giving it to other people and on forums and in chat rooms. What do you expect. When you find a place Do not say it Anywhere. Keep it to yourself.

We know its just to help people but in Reality it hurts them and yourself by advertising

I have dealt with Gold4key a couple times. They Are Legit and will not Steal............But there Prices Are Trashy right now. Everyones prices are like a dollar per k.

and when i asked gold4key what rate was the other day he said it was 0.80 per k. So yea 20k for wotlk is cheap for those prices.

They dont Care if you buy from them or not. They Set a price for gold. If yah dont like it go somewhere else and find cheaper.

Not Flaming im just saying thats how gold places are.

So many people are like "They are so legit"

but a legit company would not act like this, when i told her i thought it was dangerous and suspicious her attitude was

,,,,,,, I have got a Vanilla + TBC + Wotlk key from them in about 2 weeks farming, so i guess its an oppertunity for me to start again ,,, and its just a bonus if i DONT GET BANNED haha.

Ive bought lots of gamecards from them, so has my friends. Never any trouble, sometimes a bit slow but hey they are human too. Never been banned for trading/selling and ive sold pretty big amounts back in the days.

And btw, if you are looking for private buyers, try to contact the people you dealt with thru gold4key.

I'm sorry but I don't work for Gold4keys, and they have never screwed me. I have had to wait a day or so to receive my key before but that was it. I am not saying they are cheap either now days its pretty expensive amount of gold to trade for keys.

this is the best site. why wouldnt you want to trade with players? this is good buisness because you can get them to buy directly from you next time which results in more profit for you.

I have used them 10+ times in the last year and only had one prob, they cheated me a dollar claiming it was paypal fee but they gifted me the money. but they fixed the error

These people have completely many deals sucessfully, and have ripped many people off. You got a 25% chance of losing your account and not getting shit for it, or keeping your account, 25% chance of your account remaining intact and still not getting shit for your gold, 25% of getting all your keeps and losing first account, or 25% of everything working out in the end. I'd do a little more research on your own via google or ripoffreports before jumping into something on mere suggestion of people next time. Always trust your own judgement more than others unless your on alcohol or drugs lol.

There will ALWAYS be people buying from them companys. If they lose like 1-3 customers, I don't think that really matters much to them, because there will ALWAYS come new customers. If you have a company, the buyers will come to you. If you are just looking to sell some gold now and then, you have to find them, and that's not the easiest thing in the world IMO.
