Gold selling out of business? Farmers Finished?

End of wow gold selling?

From the new wow token selling bullshit.
IS IT OVER?????????????????????????

People on wow website are saying:

This is what forced basically all EVE Online farmers out of business, just realize that they stated that the AH prices for each will fluctuate based on the standing of the economy for each region. Also, if a game token is $15 for one, then what's the point of getting rid of subs, if a month of game time for subs is $15, people willing to just buy subs aren't having any more change other than the fact that now it isn't an automatic renewal system.

Eve Online has been doing this for years. They set the real cash price for tokens just low enough to force the gold farmers out of business.
They don't need to set the AH price, though ... they might set a floor price, say a large vendor price for the token. Then the player will always be able to get some gold for the token, but will allow the AH to set the correct market price. The vendor price should be set low enough to encourage the player to AH the token, instead of adding new gold to the game by vendoring it.

Gold selling in WOW will exist till the last realm is closed. This is my opinion. Even if the gold price will lower twice you'll have to bot only 24 hours more to get your account money back and start making profit.

As I mentioned in previous post it takes about 24Hours now to make the money back you invested in your account. Leveling to 90 takes about 24Hours, so let's say your bot stays up for 4 days and you still make profit. It's not really hard to do not get caught. Some of my accounts on realms that chinease don't farm(Mostly polish realm) survive 30day+10day trial WOD without any problems. Blizz would lose too much money if they make botting non profitable because hardcore botters(20Accounts+) pay to their pockets about 500$/month.
 
If my accounts are only surviving 4 days its time to do something else. I need at least a weeks worth to make this even worth the time and right now a week is hard to get out of bots.
 
Answer is simple, "think out of the box", stop thinking selling gold is the only thing you can do in WoW with HB, because its not.

Yes gold farming is dead so now give me all your great gold making farms so i can pay my wow subs.
 
Gold selling is not dead, the tokens will not add more money to the game as you can only sell it to other players by the AH.

i wil just keep my gold for my self when the new features comes buy gametime with tokens or wow gold then i wil get 5 new accounts and make alot of gold by dungeon farming and buy gametime key codes for my self without spending money on the sub it self
 
Wildstar has been using similar tokens almost from the beginning. I notice there is still a market for gold/plat. I'm too lazy to log in to Wildstar or NCSoft to check the token prices but I see there are still people selling.

Go to the other one which is made for you and the gold sellers, and stay away from this thread.
You should have read the title and stayed out when this doesn't concern you, but clearly common sense is something in short supply when you begin your sentence with jesus

If anyone wants to PM with some ideas go ahead, I have lots of ways to make money online and all passive, no working for money bullshit like the poor and middle class.

If gold farming lives, I will be buying 100+ honorbuddy licenses with my new unbanned 24/7 method of making 30,000+ an hour

Sorry, I didn't notice that you posted this in the "Official Gold Sellers Only" forum. Regardless, whether or not I sell gold has nothing to do with my post.

The same happened to Dofus, a french game i used to bot. It didn't hurt the RMT economy since gold was still cheaper to buy from botters. Actually many people bought gold so they can pay up their suscriptions. Don't know about Eve online, guess we'll hae to wait and see.
