go ahead and PM me your WoW login info, and i'll go check out your servers AH. I'll figure out what sells on your server. i'll check out prices on meat, fur, skins, herbs and ore. i'll check out what professions you have on your characters and use that to decide what i should farm, of i should reroll different professions. If skins and fur are selling for more than herbs or ore, ill relevel the appropriate professions and utilize them to gain profit.
i will weigh the pros and cons of releveling one profession rather than farming a material that may give me slightly less per item profit but be able to be farmed immediately. I will check out the cloth and ore markets. i will look for sections of the AH that have a small number of posters, such as Fel Iron ore. I will decide if it may be profitable to try to reset the market at a higher price. This will depend on how fast items in that section sell. I might do a small test such as buying a couple stacks and reposting for the same price. its a test to see how fast those items resell. if the market is slow, i might pass on that item.
I might compare prices of ore to bars to see if i have a profession that may be able to convert a lesser priced material in to a higher priced material. This works on items like Motes of Harmony in to Spirits of Harmony. or enchanting mats. dust into shards. you may have noticed dust is at one price, but convert it into a shard, make an enchant and it sells for twice the price.
