Gold made in the last 3 weeks

This is a screen shot of my guild banks money log.

Just to show you guys what 1 character running only HonorBuddy can do in just 3 weeks time.

This was all done with one character during the leveling process. If I straight farmed with an 80 for 3 weeks I'm sure that 23K would be doubled.

As you can see I'm a skinner as are all my characters I level with a bot. I do not sell greens to vendor I place them all in my GB and DE them later with my chanter. The first tab on my GB is completely full of Northrend enchanting mats. I have over 100 stacks of infinite dust. The 3rd tab is half full of outlands enchanting mats and the rest is blue/green items waiting to be DE'd the 4th tab is also completely full of green items waiting to be DE'd.

As you can see in the past day I have made 2660 gold all of which was made off the AH and by selling greys and loot.

I've got probably another 2-3K in the AH right now that I'll collect in the morning. (less if my vanity pet doesn't sell, which i think it will)


Anyways. I made this thread to show people like me who don't have GB (YET, I plan to get it) what HB alone is capable of farming. basically 24K in 21 days isn't bad especially considering I DO NOT loot mobs before I hit level 50 which takes the first week out of the three I've been recording this. So basically in 14 days or less I made 24K with a lot of inventory waiting to be sold yet.

I see people asking how to make gold on here with HB from time to time and basically I just told you everything you need to do. Save your greens for DE'n.. be a skinner.. and the rest will follow.

About what exactly?


Basically all the gold is made from Arctic fur/leathers, enchanting mats, blue items, and trash loot. I farm Vanity pets at levels 60-64 and 76-80. In the 60s I farm for the Captured Firely in Nagrand which sells for 2k/each and 76+ I farm for the Grundrak Hatchling wich sells for around 1K. I generally get 2-4 of each pet throughout each leveling phase. With this charachter if i remember correctly I only got 2 (maybe 3) captured firefly's. I have so far gotten 1 grundrak hatchling which im still selling.

Also I have an leatherworker which I plan to make Heavy Borean leather to exchange for Arctic Fur after I hate 80 on this toon I am working on before I cycle to the next leveling process (which will be a paladin, this one was rogue)

Not really.. This time I started skinning at level 45-50 somewhere in there. It could have been lvl 40 as I don't remember exactly. Generally I dont loot anything before level 50, but Heavy Leather was selling really well on my server so I did start skinning around level 40+ I believe.. Before that I neither skinned or looted anything. More or less all the gold was made between 40-80 (currently level 77 so 40-77 so far)

Skinning with a bot is the best possible way to make gold(without GB). Last night I got 1400 Borean leather and 20 arctic fur (and 1 grundrak hatchling) Well that was between the hours of midnight and 9AM. Here's the math.

1400 Borean leather/20= 70 Stacks X 16G Per Stack = 1120G
20 Arctic fur X 70/piece = 1400G

So just from Skinning in 9 hours in Zuldrak at level 77 I made 2520 Gold.

The pet I farmed last night is only with 1K. I probably made maybe 2-300 in vendor trash so had I not had skinning I would have only made maybe 1300.. whereas after adding the 2520+1300 I ended up making around 3800 in 9 hours. That's not counting the 30+ green Items I looted last night that will probably equal out to 4-5 stacks of infinite dust maybe some essences. I'd say probably another 2-400 gold from that depending on how lucky I am.

Now I'll admit the market on Borean leather fluctuates quite a bit as do quite a few markets so this sucess varies quite a bit.

Another thing. Had I not have sold that 1400 borean leather at 16G/stack and instead sent it to my leatherworker had him make Heavy Borean leather I would have made 233 Heavy Borean. That would convert into 23 Arctic fur. That times 70g/piece is 1600G which would have been 500 more gold than I made on it by selling it straight out. Which is why I have a guildbank tab full of leather which I plan to do that with.
 
The price for Arctic fur on my server was 25g, but thats like Icethorn that hit a nice 5g a stack a week ago, now they are at 13g though.
 
Very nice! But considering that you spend 3 weeks on getting 23k gold, then it?s not that good.
If you had used GB (which I know you don?t have, but you might get) Then these gold could have been earned in a couple of days.
